Fisher is getting old, yet he's so nimble. Next, he has a baby face and the new voice actor sounds to young. I like the idea of fluid motion, but this seems like their trying to change the franchise into some kind of blockbuster. I liked Conviction, but this seems like a far cry from even that. I understand they need to innovate, but this doesn't feel like Splinter Cell anymore.
Halo 4 wasn't even on my radar until I watched this demo. I wasn't confident that 343 Studios would handle it as well as Bungie, but I like what I see. I will be picking this up in the Fall.
I see the gaming industry crashing if to much emphasis is placed on graphical advancement because of the increasing cost of developing games. Sequel after sequel will create consumer fatigue because new properties will be a tough sale. The costs of games will naturally go up, and consoles too. That's why so many rumors are floating around that Microsoft and Sony won't be releasing consoles which are a huge leap forward. And, that's why Publishers want to eliminate used game sells. Video games are becoming to expensive to develop.
Just when EA was starting to redeem itself somewhat they do something like this. Consumers need to create a backlash and boycott their products until they reconsider this move.
