@NeverMore0 Yeah, in a series with giant robots, psychic assassins, and cybernetic ninjas that slice bullets with swords. Suddenly a woman fighting in a bikini is "unrealistic"...? Seems legit. /sarcasm
@focuspuller Question is, would it have mattered in a series that's essentially an over the top, Indiana Jones adventure game had they gone the traditional route again? In my opinion, no.
It's all in the tone they are striving for, I suppose.
What a load of hypocritical garbage. Maybe 343 Studios should redesign Cortana and then come back. You know, there is a problem with Man Babies in the industry, like David Ellis here who find something to whine about. Honestly, the Western Male is becoming increasingly effeminate and weak.
@wickedsc300 I think most of the hate from Core gamers for COD stems from the iterative nature of each sequel, and the pervasive influence COD has had on the industry as a whole. I'm sure you've noticed the amount of companies and games which seek to emulate COD's mass market success and iterative business model. Many Core gamers feel chafed by the stream lining of so many video game franchises in the wake of CODS success.
Then you have the jaded COD players like Danny, who are tired of the tried and true and want something new yet just as good or better.
