Get the Corsair TX750 for SLI

GTR12
This one? http://www.cplonline.com.au/online-shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_default.tpl&product_id=7767&category_id=250&keyword=Corsair+TX750 Is there any danger in using a PSU with a wattage too high when I'm not going SLI yet? That case looks a little boring... Are there any issues with the cases I've linked and if so why is the case you selected better?

F*ck that, Rage is awesome.

Phoenix534

Wasn't Rage a horrible console port? I tend to steer away from those games as far as possible.

No. It had some driver issues at launch, but that's been ironed out since launch. The thing people seem to complain about the most is the texture pop-in, but that's not a result of poor porting as it is the way megatextures work.

The textures were very inconsistent all round, and I'll take normal textures without the pop in any day. The gameplay itself was nothing special, the driving gameplay was not good at all and the story wasn't interesting. Not to mention the serious lack of graphics tools both at launch and then the lackluster implementation of them afterwards. TC asked for good PC games, RAGE is not a game you should put on your list of good PC games.

ARMA II as well, I just can't warrant buying it at the current price to try a mod, especially when the sequel is on its way.

[QUOTE="_Telimtor_"][QUOTE="JC_Spot"]DO NOT buy RAGE. Games you NEED to play, well I guess RPG's like Dragon Age Origins and (especially) The Witcher 2. FPS games I would recommend are Battlefield 3, Tribes Ascend (free to play) and (especially) Metro 2033. Indie games like Amnesia and (especially) Super Meat Boy. Just a few off the top of my head.

Dragon Age i played on PS3, thats why im looking for game made for a mouse. Witcher i did not like and i will try Battlefield 3.. But any games less recent ?

Bioshock, Fallout 3, Mirrors Edge, Crysis and Portal are just a few more I can think of. If you want to go really far back I highly recommend Morrowind, completely different than Skyrim and Oblivion.

I'm from New Zealand, most people here don't have, and can't afford internet plans with more than 20GB of bandwidth. They would eliminate an entire market by being download only.

[QUOTE="DeX2010"][QUOTE="Cantonpalm"]Toshiba Satellite P750-BT4N22 Intel Core i7-2670QM @2.2Gigahertz 8GB RAM Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel HD Graphics family Card 1696MB All I can see ingame are cars, streetlights, character, and people. I got it off Steam so help!

There is no way that GPU will ever play GTA IV. I don't understand manufacturers. i7 CPU, 8GM RAM and an Intel graphics card? Really??? You've bought the game, so it's tied to your Steam account. Get a actual gaming PC with a strong GPU and you will be able to play GTA IV.

The manufacturers know people will see i7 and HD graphics and think it's good for gaming.

[QUOTE="reach3"][QUOTE="MercenaryMafia"]

I won't believe anything until I see the official specs, but if true this does look promising.

1.) Microsoft just needs to drop the price of XBL significantly or make a subscription tier that caters to people that only want to play games. (possibly make it free to compete with Sony)

2.) Create new ip and continue to support XBLA

3.) Continue to make Halo

4.) Make sure their hardware will not fail and is affordable.

5.) Have the kinect 2 built into the next xbox.

6.) Have excellent Third party support

If most of these come true (especially #1 and 2) I will probably buy the next xbox first.

MercenaryMafia

kinect will never be built into the xbox. It would be horrible, everyone can't put their xbox in the perfect position kinect requires.

Anything is possible. I think they should at least include Kinect along side the next box when it releases.

What about for people who DON'T want to play garbage shovelware?

Adding more CPU power isn't going to do much and is poor value for money, you may as well spend the money going SLI or something.
