It's not DX11's fault, games can crash for any number of reasons. Make sure all the basics are covered, eg. you have the latest drivers, re install the game just in case, make sure you're patched to the latest version (although Steam should do that anyway). Often I find if I have a problem the best way to find a fix is using Google, because 9/10 there will be a lot of others who have had similar issues and have posted all over the internet about them.

[QUOTE="JC_Spot"]Absolutely no need to get a 6 core i7, the best i5 CPU will be more than enough, games don't really require the top of the line CPU's. You definitely don't need 32GB of RAM, 16GB will be MORE than enough. Other than that it seems pretty good. If you are willing to spend the money saved from those changes then I would look at maybe a GTX 690 which, and with that configuration you will be maxing games out for a few years to come.Jack_240
So I think reconsider building with these specs ? huh. I want it to last to next-gen lol, I know cuz those games that are coming need to have a killer PC for this stuff.

Yes, an i5 3570K would be sufficient for a decent period of time. Games nowadays do not require a huge amount of CPU power, it's all about the GPU. 8GB of RAM is usually enough so 32B is far too much. 16GB is still a lot but I guess if you want top of the line it's okay.

I'm not entirely sure about motherboards so you will have to make sure from somebody else it's compatible and suitable, but you are missing numerous components on your list like PSU, case, cooling etc, so make sure you factor those into your budget. Any left over funds from your budget should go towards a better GPU, it's the most crucial component.

Use a website like newegg.com and find all the parts you need/want and post links to all of them in a new thread for people to scrutinize and check for compatability and balance.

No, do not get a Mac. Not only are the majority of games not compatible with the OS but you will end up paying 2x as much or more for the same amount of power as a PC.

That's a MASSIVE budget, no need to waste it on 2x512GB SSD's. Seriously, with 4K you could almost get a 6 core i7 and SLI GTX 690's. With that you could max out anything for a LONG time.
