I'm looking forward to this game, but I'm disappointed by the talking - half of the humour and charm of the Lego games is that the characters DON'T talk, mostly because they avoided the inevitable dodgy writing and bad voice acting you see in most games. I'm far from convinced that this is a good move, but will still love the game no doubt.

I've been an xbox 360 owner for about 5 years, and a PS3 owner for less than 1 year, so personally I hope they both have a lot of life left in them. Considering how much money I spent on the consoles and the games, I'm not prepared to shell out who knows how much in a year's time for another new console. I expect to get at least another 3 or 4 years out of the current gen.

Hmm... looks good but this guy is WAY over-selling it. From what I've seen in this demo, there's not really anything they haven't done before, it's just been refined and improved. Also saw quite a bit of screen tear going on, but this is only a demo so hopefully that will be sorted out before release.

All in all, I'm optimistic about the game.

"Sure, the single player campaign is pleasant enough, but it's nothing compared to the joy of online destruction..."

And that's where you lose me. Good review - nice to know I can safely skip this and wait for DiRT 4.

@Assemblent I'm not saying they should change anything, because you're right, it wouldn't be AC then, but I just hate how they try to present it as something it isn't. Sure the visuals are improved and the gameplay has probably been tweaked, but the word 'groundbreaking' suggests that it's doing something completely new and different. I just hate the way these publishers over-hype games coz that only leads to disappointment. New features/characters/settings are all things that SHOULD be in a new game, so none that qualifies as 'groundbreaking' in my book.

Even though I love this franchise (with the obvious exception of Revelations) I just can't seem to muster any excitement for this (perhaps because of Revelations?). I will still try it, but maybe a rental first.

Also, exactly how is this 'groundbreaking'? There is nothing in this trailer that hasn't been seen before in previous AC games.

Did anyone else find the demo for this really dull? I was really looking forward to the game, but 20 mins into the demo I was bored...

Just re-release Diddy Kong Racing in HD on all platforms and be done with it. I loved that game!
