I love AC but Revelations was a horrible game. I couldn't play it for more than a couple of hours before throwing my controller down in disgust. I just watched the cutscenes on YouTube for the story, and even that was forgettable.
If yearly releases mean games like Revelations, then no. Just no.
Finally! Love GRID. Just hope the online component doesn't completely eclipse the single player career as has happened with Burnout and NFS. Hopefully this time round we'll also get more track variety and some weather effects. Still, Codemasters has not produced a bad game since the first GRID so I have every faith in them.
@UKwildcats14 Yeah! Coz science is ultimately about humans finding fancy new ways to kill each other. I mean, how much cooler would it be for real life soldiers to be able to slaughter one another with lasers rather than just boring old run-of-the-mill bullets?? High five!
Honestly, what's the point of this? The story is over - and this series was all about the story. If it was free then I would maybe get it for the next time a play through as part of the 3rd game. But on it's own it seems pretty redundant.
"Though it is tagged Need For Speed, the game feels much more like Burnout Paradise than the original Most Wanted."
Missed this bit on my first read - this one sentence says it all, and I have now officially lost all interest in this game. Guess I'll just have to wait for the next Midnight Club for another street-racer with a deep single player career mode.
Finally, some single player DLC, although it'll be kind of annoying if we have to pay for it after all that free multiplayer b0llocks that no one wanted or cared about...
"These are game makers with Burnout Paradise and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit most recently under their belts."
Both of which were shallow, boring, forgettable games that completely ignored the single player. Just knowing Criterion have their grubby mits on Most Wanted makes me both sad and angry at the same time .
