@Tzunoy You do that. Say, with all the spare time you'll have not playing this game you could maybe go back to school and learn about spelling, grammar and sentence structure...
@ilantis Yeah, I think I will get it. Not worried about getting destroyed online as I never play online anyway. It'll be me on my own or versus with a mate (who sucks even worse than me at fighters) We're button-mashers and not ashamed to admit it.
Probably why I was shite at Soulcalibur - loved it but it was so effing hard!
I'm really interested in this game, but I haven't played a fighter for years (last one was Soulcalibur 4, which I kinda sucked at). I'm a bit wary about the claimed difficulty. I don't wanna spend hours learning combos and thinking about player positioning...but I do love Tekken...dilemma!
Good episode. I've never been into point-and-click, simply because I need to have a bit more input into my games (ie, directly controlling characters, real-time combat, etc.). However, I do love a good story so I might give this genre another look.
On a side note, Your narrative sort of implied that point-and-click games were the only ones that could be defined as 'adventure' games with a good story. I would describe the majority of the non-point-and-click games I play as story-driven adventures (eg. Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Darksiders, etc.). To me, the word 'adventure' implies some sort of action as well as story, so maybe point-and-click could be more accurately termed 'non-action adventure'?
Just semantics when you get down to it though, I suppose...
Wow, I think I must be the only person in the world who liked the Gymkhana events in Dirt 3!
But this game looks like it would get old fast playing on your own, and as I don't do online MP or have any friends who are into racing games, I guess I'll give it a miss...
The way I see it, the WiiU will appeal mostly to three groups - die hard Nintendo fans, casual/party gamers, and early adopters who love gimmicks. These people are going to buy it no matter what.
The majority of gamers who will be holding out for the next Xbox/PS4 will have little interest in the WiiU anyway. I don't think it'll make a huge difference when they release it.
Sigh, when will these people learn? There has never been a good video game film adaption. Never. And it doesn't matter how much money or talent you chuck into the production, it'll still be mediocre at best. Case in point - Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil...need I go on?
