Lawl. This guy tried to bash the Wii but he can't even spell.

I just don't understand how you can actually rationalize the Wii not being nex gen. Did the Wii come out BEFORE gamecube? Nope. Did the Wii come out at the same time as gamecube? Nope.

Therefore its next gen, no matter what the specs are.

Anyway Mario Galaxy getting GOTY really throws a wrench in your whole fanboyish argument. Nice try though. Maybe next time.

I wonder whats his plural for goose.....prolly "Geesesses"

I liked the original Xbox controller to be honest. Of course, i'm 6 ft tall and have decently sized hands. I can see how anyone with small hands might hate it though.

As for the Worst of them all. I honestly don't have a worst. I enjoyed playing with all the controllers. I know the Xbox original with be a favorite though amongst people here.

Yeah, we'll Im 6'1 and that thing was like a holding a computer in my hands. I have big hands too but cmon! That thing was a monstrocity! And like other posters said the white and black buttons were way too awkward.

The best controller for me is between the 360 controller and the Gamecube one. But I guess if you liked it you liked it. Im guessing your hands must be AT LEAST the size of a lawnmower. Thats the only way I can comprehend someone feeling it to be comfortable.

Ill give you that.

But the way I see it.

Street Fighter has been THE most successful fighting franchise...without the shiny graphics. (with the exception of them ruining SFIV) So Im good without having it push the systems limits like other games try to do.

My fighting series of choice would be between Street Fighter and Smash Bros. I cant really decide. Both though, are not famous because of their graphics, but instead the amazing gameplay.

Hell SF4 is down right ugly IMO (I would have rather had super detailed sprites) but if the gameplay is as solid as SF3's I will pick it up anyway.

Exactly my feelings.

:? Those graphics are TERRIBLE. As i said before, Halo 1 looks better.

Also the menu interface is also pretty bad

Bread_or_Decide

Care.

This game looks amazing.

I don't think I'd use the word amazing.

It looks fine.

I hope thats sarcasm. My radar is broken so you'd better be joking. Just go to the DOJO and look at all the content. There is so much its ridiculous.

Stage Builder (wifi enabled...sending and DL maps from Nintendo and Friends)

Replay Saves (3 min replays of vs matches and target smash, these can be sent to friends)

Snapshots

-----

Online Co-op for:

Subspace Emissiary

Event Matches

Multi-man Melee

Target Smash (which you can save a 3 min replay and send to your friends)

Home Run Contest

------

The ability to spectate online matches

The ability to bet virtual money on a winner of online matches and win more money/cool stuff

Trophies and Stickers (meh)

The trophy game (pinball-like game where you get trophies)

Four kinds of Control (Gamecube, C1assic controller, Wiimote+Nunchuck, or Wiimote on its side)

Rotation options (this is when you have more people then controllers. Enter everyones name and either loser or winner gives it up to the next guy. It automatically shows whos up next...no more arguing with brian who wants to play 3 matches in a row)

Online Vs. Matches (with anyone or with friends)

THIRD PARTY CHARACTERS

35 known composers and a TON of amazing scores/compositions

Melee stages (7-8 known so far)

Special Melee (which means crazy custom settings. Gravity, speed, size, ect settings included)

Music Customization (being able to play a rotation of songs you like in any given stage)

This game is more than fine. Sorry for the long post which im sure I missed stuff. This game truly is a fan venture and its one of those games that really gets everyone excited. Honestly this game is WHY I have a Wii. This is a system seller. Not to mention its predecesor "melee" was MLGs competitive fighting Game of Choice picked OVER SF of GG. This game should be huge.

My record for Cruel was 19. 8)

Anybody else think the Red Alloy looks like Cpt. Falcon? If that's based on his model (since it seems like green= Kirby and blue= Zelda or ZSS), who is the yellow Alloy?

KungfuKitten

Yeah I've been thinking that too.
Could be a hint. Any Nintendo character with horns?

Bowser? But the alloys seem to adhere shapes that i personally wouldn't expect from those characters. I doubt they resemble characters, or they would have made it more obvious too. Maybe different grades of strength, speed, etc.

I didnt want to do this but....
