[QUOTE="Johnny_Rock"]You can get an 8800 GT for about $100 now.skulleton1

I think I might get that... My friend said he'll sell me his 8800 GTX 1gb for like $110 though

make sure that you have a powerful enough psu that can handle an 8800gtx. you probably don't if you bought the pc and didn't build it.

[QUOTE="JnWycliffe"]i played the soldier, and i loved it. my suggestion is to make sure that you really enjoy using your main character's gun, because you can always use your teammates' biotic and engineer powers, but you can't aim for them. the best way to go, imo, is to make your main character a soldier (who can use the sniper rifle) and take an engineer and a biotic specialist with you and semi-micromanage them (including their stats).MotherRussia

That makes sense, i will give it a try, some people says the soldier is not really deep... would u agree?

the soldier by himself is not as deep as other classes. but since you can use your teammates' powers, it really doesn't matter what your main character is besides which gun you use. but yeah, if you really wanted to, you could just let the a.i. take care of your teammates and control only your character, which would make playing as the soldier less deep than other characters. but why would you not control your teammates and be more strategic when fighting enemies? simply more fun that way.

Company of hereos and Dawn of War sound good RTS wise and from reviews here on GS, sins of a solar empire seems to have a shoddy campaign mode from what I understand though. Portal meh totally forgot about that, it ran on my old rig but crappy, gotta give that another spin. VTM Bloodlines again worth another spin since it was very choppy on my old rig. Which one of those racing games would be the most fun? Grid seems to be the coolest. Race 07? Don't think I have heard of this one.himeraz

sins of a solar empire doesn't have a campaign mode.

race 07 and gtr 2 are very similar; i'd recommend gtr 2 over race 07, just cuz the cars in gtr 2 are cooler.

race 07 and gtr 2 are race simulations; grid is an arcade racer. so it really depends on what type of racing game you like better. but, imo, even if you prefer arcade racers, gtr 2 is the best of the lot. oh, but grid is definitely the prettiest. and, i mean, it's VERY pretty.

check out this video review of grid: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6cV8llm5-Bs

portal, vampire: the masquerade - bloodlines, company of heroes, sins of a solar empire, galactic civilizations 2, titan quest, dawn of war, medieval 2, sam & max seasons 1 & 2, gtr2, race 07, grid. i'm sure there are tons of other games to get, but that's all i can think of.

Predator

*nuke activated*

Tresca_

he'd die as well, so it wouldn't really be a win for him.

and besides, everyone else would just have to get naked and rub mud all over himself.

*fans himself* wooh~, is it just me or is it getting hot in here?

i might as well, since i have the other expansions. i haven't played civ 4 in a long time though; maybe it'll invigorate my interest in the game again.

I honestly dont think any weapons the Cheif, Nomad or Freeman have could penetrate the Space Marines Armor. The only weapon being the Predators shoulder cannon, maybe.Orcishman05

the tau cannon? the gluon gun? the super gravity gun?
