Humm... no, actually I didn't  lol
But 9.4 out of 10 is absurd when they gave SoulStorm a 7 is heresy, and Gamespot was even worse.
maybe you should read the review, in that case. they make a lot of good points on it and explain how the game's different from crysis.
But it's 3 pages long:(
I'll read it some other time.
:P
but seriously, why are you cpmplaining about a review when you haven't even read it?
They wouldn't take more money then whats supposed to be charged to the customer right?f-a-d-3
never had that happen to me. ever.

[QUOTE="JnWycliffe"][QUOTE="dnuggs40"]Sorry, but it's true. I really don't believe you anyways, as it's the same games over and over, and they are all AAA titles that do gangbusters in the reviews and are really popular. You never hear about the unpopular games...
It's not biggie...I have watched this trend develop on game forums for years now :)
I know, I know...

i'm thinking you're just a chump who gets suckered into buying bad games. cuz, seriously, how difficult is it to avoid buying bad games? i think i've bought 3 games that i would consider 'bad' in all my 20+ years of gaming: graw 1, ass creed, and football mogul 2003. graw i bought because i was hunkering for a good tactical shooter, despite hearing that the pc version isn't that good; ass creed i bought because of jade raymond; and football mogul 2003 i bought because i wanted the football version of what's a pretty decent baseball manager game (baseball mogul). if you don't believe me, fine. who gives a ****, really?
but it's one thing to make your point once; it's something else entirely if you make your point twice, which makes me believe that either (a) you're just looking to flame people or (2) you thought your comment was very clever and are a bit peeved that it got no attention the first time around. whatever the reason, we got your point; if you don't like the answers, then stop reading them.
Na, I am just more of an actual gamer then you, and my experience with games is obviously far broader and encompases a much larger spectrum. Your comments don't show you have better taste...it just shows you have a limited view.
Also, your personal comments don't really bother me, I have seen these "X most popular game suck" comments for years...they are actually pretty comical now lol.
And it obviously bothers you, as you feel the need to insult me. Whatever...you know it's true.
oh my.
first, i never said i had better taste than you. i don't know where you get that from.
second, i insulted you? you're the one that insulted everyone that replied on this thread.
third, it does bother me when someone calls me a liar. but it's not to a point where i need to insult you. i was merely drawing a logical conclusion, cuz there's no other conclusion i can make in regards to why you bothered to insult everyone twice: either you're looking to flame people, or you're peeved that no one noticed you in the first place.

sweet.
"...it feels like Crytek openly borrowed a page or two from director Michael Bay."
i don't know if this is a compliment, since i hate michael bay movies, but it sounds like the game's basically a super-charged crysis!
but this is what caught my attention:
"Used correctly, the nanosuit lets you basically be the alien Predator from the movies, and the open nature of the levels means that you can dictate the terms of the battle."
and i thought for a second that the game might let you climb trees and jump from one tree to another and stuff, but i don't think that's what they meant. seriously, crysis 2 should feature the ability to climb trees and try and duplicate what it would really be like to be the predator.
[QUOTE="lizzardman666"]Why didn't anyone mention Action 52?dnuggs40
Because it's not currently popular. If you haven't noticed, almost all games mentioned are current popular games.
Mentioning that game ma get some "lulz" from people who remember it, but it's not provacative enough and wont start any flame wars.
i think people got your point the first time.
i don't know about everyone else, but i try and buy only good games, based on reviews and user feedback and my gut feeling about the game; it's rare that i buy a bad game. i don't buy those 1000 games for the price of 1 package deals; i don't buy games that get ****ty reviews, unless i'm absolutely sure that i'll like it. the worst game that i've ever bought (and played) is ass creed; i genuinely thought the game was horrible. some of us do try and be honest when replying to these types of threads.
