Level 9 is Sublime.

Level Nine Today Boyz

 I am now an Ikari Warrior, but does that mean I am one of the heroes, or one of the bad guys. I actually remember this game, one of my uncles used to have it I think. I have also lost many quarters in Heavy Barrel, which was a copycat of this game. If you want to know more about check this out.

Now I have two questions. Is there a level cap? and Who has the highest level? Oh, a third question who has the most posts? night_haunter is working on it.:P

Here's Johnny!

I am back from oblivion, relatively speaking, and have gotten a copy of Dark Crusade, finally. You may see me at some time in the next month, otherwise I might be glued to my chair and chained to my keyboard. :lol:

Don't let David Blow Up The Site While I Am Gone.

Dear Weird People Who Read My Blog,

 I am going to be on the road for a few days. Like I said, don't let david blow up anything he shouldn't while I am gone.

 If any of you were wondering where I am going, mind your own d@^^ business for once.:P

 Seriously though, I am off to my grandmother's and then, roundaboutly, Reno, NV. Have fun while I am gone, and don't kill the entire internet with posts.:D

                                                                                        -Sincerely, John

Gamespot Gave Me Blogging Rights and I Am Going to Use Them Even If It Kills You

Hi all you people who have, for some reason, decided to read the ramblings of some guy named John.

 So I wrote a poem thing-a-ma-jigger:shock:. I had been researching space exploration and this got stuck in my head. I decided around midnight to write it down and see if that would let me sleep, I needed to get some rest for college in the morning. After I wrote it down I completely forgot it, and went to sleep. Then I found the blasted thing and decided to torture the internet with sub-par poetry:twisted:.

 It is about human exploration and how, no matter how far we go, we always what to push our boundaries.

 Mind as you read this that I never write or read any kind of poetry and have no clue how to go about it. Comments, criticisms, and corrections appreciated.

There have been in the past many great steps;
and in the future yet more will come;
but never will there be, in the future or past;
a step greater than the first one;
when the first man, for the first time;
gave into his great desire;
and he journeyed and saw what lay around the next bend;
no step will ever be greater than this;
for here is where the journey began.

So, what do you think, am I just going crazy?:P

Quad Damage, Oh So Much Better Than Normal Damage.

I just made it to level eight!

245 posts, lets see, that means I am only about 4439 posts and six levels behind night_haunter...

And 322 posts and four levels behind Davidr_pikula1...

It looks as if I need to get my butt in gear.

On an interesting note I just lately saw a person who was level 5 and had 2 posts in his entire history, Dark Crussader. He is apparently part of the Warhammer 40K Union. How he did it I do not really know, guess he reads alot of posts and watches alot of movies.

Ah quad damage, such an unassuming little pickup which turned rockets of major hurting capability into rockets of DOOM!!! Of course in Unreal Tournament 2004 it was even better while used in combination with a vehicle. It turned your average Leviathan from a rocket spewing, blackhole blasting behemoth, into a rocket spewing, blackhole blasting behemoth of DOOM!!!1!:twisted:

D@^^n Microsoft

 Microsoft has recently announced that they are making a Halo RTS. Now their canning of Halogen makes a little more sense, but their thinking is still far off.

 Halogen is a mod for a dated computer game, Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. Anyone who has played, or seen, the games knows that it is old in its visuals. Therefore it would not steal many purchases from Mircosoft's new game. Few people who would buy a brand-new next-gen RTS would instead settle for a mod for an old game. In fact the mod would have opened people's eyes to the possibilities of a Halo RTS.

 Secondly, Halo Wars, is strictly an Xbox 360 title, no PC version. Halogen, on the other hand, was strictly for the PC, no version for any console. People playing Halo Wars have need to have a 360, this means the PC gamers playing Halogen would not detract highly from the purchases of Halo Wars, as they are less likely to have a 360. Now people wanting to play a Halo RTS need to either buy a very expensive gaming system, or go without.

Go to www.youtube.com and key Halogen in to see videos of the now-dead Mod, sure it looks pretty cool, but would it have been competition for Halo Wars?

I personally don't think so, but now we will never find out.

Why do I have a sudden urge to be an Ork?

After watching the Warhammer Online trailer I want to be a black Orc or a Chaos whatever that thing was. The Orc was HUGE and was smacking that dwarf like a punching bag. It didn't even matter when the blade broke, he just started bashing instead of slashing. The Chaos thingit was more powerful and evil looking than Sauron in the Lord of the Rings, and he had multiple weapons to kill things with. That human had no hope of winning, no matter how "holy" he was. He didn't just get killed, he got pulverized. Sure, a lot of new and young people will want to be one of the "good-guys," as for me, that just means more targets.:twisted: (What was the Chaos fighter exactly?)

Halogen was Foxed.

   I have never really liked Microsoft, but come on, Halogen was never going to steal away their money. There isn't even a Halo RTS on the market or near to coming out. When an official one does come out it will have to be next-gen, what kind of chance does a Zero-Hour mod have against that.

   The worst thing is that Microsoft waited so long to Fox it. The team had done huge amounts of work on it, probably getting near an early release by the screens and vids I saw, and then Microsoft comes down with the lawsuit. Come on Bill, do you really think they were going to take away enough of your money that you would notice it?
