@G4mBi7: Keep in mind that consoles get more out of their specs due to them running at assembly level language. The power you'll get out of these 2 systems are probably pretty damn close.
@naz99: It may be more powerful but consoles tend to perform better than PCs with the same specs because consoles run off of assembly level language, thus getting much more power out of its limited specs. I'd say the price to power ratio is a bit of a wash. The differences are so negligible, it's pointless to argue.
My old PC was damn near identical to the Xbox 360 specs and it couldn't even run Modern Warfare 1 at 1600x 900 / 60fps on medium settings with no anti-aliasing. I had to turn down a few things to get a steady 60FPS.
@SteadyingMeat: he didn't say that, he's just saying it takes a long time to get going. I've known this for 15 years. I played the original about 10 years ago and didn't even get to the point where you pick classes. im definitely giving this another shot because the reason I didn't finish the original is cuz of the god awful graphics. Even ps1 games from 1996 looked better.
@zapin99: I don't know about you, but I play on PS because of the games. The fact that it's the more powerful and successful console this gen (so far) is unrelated. I have a PC with a 3.2ghz 8-core, 16gb DDR3 RAM, GTX 970 and a solid state drive and guess what I still use more? Why? Because exclusives (Sony and console exclusives). Also, couch. PC is too much work to get on a couch setup, with the whole mandatory M+K thing... (as in you can't boot up your PC without a M+K)
@leon00x: there's a LOT more to breeding than Pokemon X + Ditto. Do some reading on natures, IV, EV, and egg moves and then get back to me. Most people don't even know IV and EV even exist in the first place. I didn't know until 2005.
@Paulf001: FFXI and XIV did. FFXIII-2 did as well. If you don't want it, don't buy it. It all seems like side stories anyways. Probably backstory for each character or something. Doesn't seem essential in the slightest.
