@Thanatos2k: The article doesn't say it improves sales, it just doesn't have a significant effect on them. Mostly because the people who pirate games wouldn't have likely paid for it in the first place (i.e. basement dwellers who only have money for computer parts but not the games)

@solid_snake1461: Alternatively, they could avoid all the old stuff to make salty people who don’t even own a Switch happy. I’ve played at least 7 “old” games on Switch I never played before. Hyrule Warriors, Dragon’s Dogma, Bayonetta 2, and a handful of indies. I even plan on rebuying a few final fantasy games because I love them so much.
