@deviltaz35: this is the first time god of war has been about more than just over the top violence and good graphics. Now it has emotion, character development, and a good story. And if the kid annoyed you.... well guess what? That was sorta the point, at least in the beginning. He evolved into more than a whiny kid through hardship and failure. Like, literally I can’t find a single thing in this game that isn’t better than the old GOW games but I guess that’s just my (and million of others’) opinion.

@michellebennet: I had a bug where a pedestrian was standing on a 6 foot wall and a side quest glitched out and I had to start over but other than that it’s been fine. Much more stable than a lot of other open world games.

A few hours in and it’s lovely. I forgot how long it’s been since a proper DQ game. The DQVII remake held me over for like half a year, but this is what I really wanted.

@masscrack: who cares what it looks like when it plays so well? Besides, 4K/60FPS will be outdated one day anyways. This game will always be good regardless.

@michellebennet: cool story bro. All I want is a good Spider-Man game to play. Pretty graphics and high resolution are nice and all, but it means shit if the game is boring or broken. Thankfully, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

@ragnarocking: since when are ubisoft’s worlds recycled? Never played a Ubisoft game that was the same map as the last. And next to Rockstar, Ubisoft makes some of my favorite open world games. I get that it’s hip and cool to bash popular things, but I’m gonna have to disagree with you there. Ubisoft has the best games as a service too.
