ok, so since monitoring the temps iv descovered something odd. Every crash that has happened the gpu temp have been exactly 76C. I really dont know if it has anything to do with temps anymore though as the card gets up too around 100 on occasion and does not crash. I have no idea what could be causing this now. Is is possible that her gpu just doesnt like that specific temprature, but then if its crashing because of that they why not when its running at higher temps? Anyone have any other ideas on what could be going on?

Are there any programs I can use to log tempratures so I can check what they were when it reboots?

I also forgot to mention that once the computer has rebooted it doesnt do it again for along time. Im not sure a defrage will do anything, as I formated her entire computer and did a whole new install of windows. I thought I might have been a driver issue, but seeing as it is still happening since then Im guessing its not. I'll check out the tempratures she's getting, if anyone could point me to a program to monitor them.

My girlfriends computer has been rebooting for afew months now when she is playing games. Im wondering if anyone here would have some ideas on what could be causing it, or even if anyone knows of any programs I could stick on her computer to log whats going on when it reboots.

I only Recently bought her a new PSU because her old one stopped working, so Im pretty sure it cant be the PSU.

PC specs...

CPU: AMD PII 945

GPU: HD4870

RAM: 4GB ddr3

PSU: Thermaltake litepower 600W

So, my monitor broke today for some reason and I need too pick up a new one. Im looking for some sujestions on some decent LCD/LED monitors 20" in size or more for under AU$250.
