Ok.. first off, I'm a big fan of the NHL series, but still decided to pass on 12 due to the lack of innovation. I loved to be the goalie in past games and I think I was pretty good (in the top 100 online back in 11).

Now, I started a be a pro goalie but I keep getting crushed to a point it's not even funny (avg of 8 goals per game..) A bit better online but still. Problem is, I can't even put the finger on what the problem is.. Yes, the goalie "freeze" sometime after the first save which make an easy rebound shot goal, but most of the time, I'm pretty sure I'm covering the angles right and doing good side to side movement as well and the cpu still can score...

Anyway, the point is not going on a rant, but rather to see if there's others goalies out there who noticed issues or having a hard time with NHL 13..

Been looking around the web for informations about NHL 09 for the PC (yeah I know, the last ones were horrible, but I'm that kind of person who keeps the faith...), and I was wondering if there would be a EASHL feature ("Be a pro" online) for the PC as well. I can find some info and hands-on for the 360, but can't find anything about the PC..

Plus, I was wondering if EA was to release an actual next-gen game for the PC this year... Since we're less than a month from release, and we don't have that many details, I'm kinda getting ready to accept that 09 will be another joke from EA...

Anyone heard anything ?

I've heard the game runs sluggishly on everything except 8800.RK-Mara

I have a 8800 GTS and the game keep crashing every 5 minutes.. A lot more 8800 users are having the same issues as me. Still waiting for a patch or a dev to help me on this...

My best bet would be to go ask this question on Civ4 website directly.. probably more chance to get an answer over there.. :)
