Got a Xbox 360 controller with Gears of War and I was wondering if it would work with any other game that support a controller or only with Microsoft games.

Thanks !

Can't remember being deceived from Blizzard.. Their RTS are always good games and they do bring some new stuffs from time to time, but never at the expense of the gameplay.

The problem with WoW is that you'll have to solo you're way almost all the time.. And even when you get a team, you'll fight over some loot.. you'll end up calling everyone a newb and you'll become a real jerk in 2 weeks.. What I mean is, you need to play with friends in order to enjoy WoW..

CoH on the other hand really have a community feeling.. On the most populated servers, you can get invites for a team the second you log in. And there is no fighting over loot, since everyone get their own.

I am too a CoH player and I strongly suggest you to stick with it.. It's really the best MMORPG out there... for the moment at least.

LORTO brought nothing new to the table apart from crits during craftingchimera1984

I think Ultima Online had that too.. so LOTRO wouldn't have anything new then.. :)

I agree with Rattlesnake_8.. I personnally never heard of a FPS game on PC that had split screen.. So your best bet would be to get a second computer and play LAN. With the older games, another computer wouldn't cost you that much.

It do looks interresting.. but I've learned never buy an MMO without trying it out first.. I'm already waiting for a beta invitation, and if I can't get one.. I'll probably get a trial in a year or two..

Well.. they do promise a lot of new things for this game.. First things I think of are the battle system, the possibility to fight mounted, player made city and fortress, and yes, the mature content (not only boobies) that will seperate this game from the "family MMOs" as WoW or CoH.

And by the way.. If you play the beta.. you've been asked not to speak of the game.. forums include that. And it's only natural that beta feels buggy and incomplete, the game isn't done yet.

I think they do..... in some case at least. There are good and bad sequels, just like in Hollywood. I was hoping to get a good NHL game for my PC just to figure out EA just changed the package and didn't made anything new on their last game.

The CoD series, just like the Battlefield or Medal of Honor series, really been through the WWII story and they had to go for something else. The aspect of the Modern Warfare is a good plus in my opinion, as Battlefield did with its 2142 game.

Sequels are made because people asks for more.. Maybe one day we'll hit some kind of perfectness in video games.. but until then, I think there will always be demands from gamers for sequels.

Played the beta and I must admit Tabula Rasa didn't impressed me.. but it WAS beta.. so maybe the game got better since then... If you're really looking for something new.. I'd suggest City of Heroes/Villains.. They really improved the game since last summer and they have some promising stuff coming.
