The game industry needs to get real. We consumers are not forcing them to spend tens upon tens of millions of dollars to develop these games. These developers could create their games for less money, but they choose not to. Instead they spend an absurd amount of money and when the game does not hit their desire sales projection, they blame piracy and us, the consumers, for not buying their game.
This model simply isn't sustainable.
Oh and Cliff B. is a money grub and just wants to be paid more money on his next game, so he can buy a new Ferrari.
Oh oh and the reason why Ubisoft has a crap load of people working on the new Assassin's Creed is because, Ubisoft is pushing a new AC every year. If they had chosen to release an AC title every 3 years, they wouldn't need such a huge development team.
Bloody f***ing hell. Region Locking is the one reason as to why I haven't yet bought a Nintendo 3DS. I import a LOT and region locking consoles just makes importing a pain in the ass. PlayAsia.com have been having sales on certain 3DS titles, but I don't won't buy them because I know I won't be able to play them on an Australian (PAL) 3DS.
