The Xbox One has 8GB of DDR3 memory. Is that 8GB of memory shared between the CPU and GPU? Cause if so, it would mean that the GPU is being feed by DDR3 rate memory.
Now, I don't know about you. But I would never buy a GPU running off DDR3 memory.
The $300 SKU will end up costing the consumer $540 in the end, because of the two year Live gold commitment.
But it's not like those who buy the $500 SKU will get free Live gold subscriptions. And if you need a gold account to play online, then the $500 model will end up costing many more.
@Sk8rlink @forlietu @acelogan1989 @hector530 @guzhead I don't know about you. But someone quote me the price for a workstation computer from Dell or HP running dual six cores Intel Xeons. They aren't cheap. Hell, workstation class desktops aren't cheap, period. Apple's main market for the Mac Pro are the professionals.
I always believe that graphics should aim to be artistically and aesthetically beautiful, and not just be full of bells and whistles.
I think Ni No Kuni is a wonderfully looking game. Sure it doesn't have all that DirectX 11 jazz that makes Crysis 3 a technical marvel to look at. But Ni No Kuni is still a beautiful looking game.
Also I believe game with strong artistic values tend to age better than those with none.
