@the_big_doggg May I ask what information you're scared they're going to get? It just seems like a strange complaint to me. Information farming like this only affects how they market to you.
People just enjoy hating on Microsoft. One of the big complaints I've heard about them and the XBox One is that they weren't listening to the consumer and now that they are you complain about them not standing their ground or the motives behind the change. It's just all so transparent.
@DaveFlava69 Yes, it's called the free market. Companies make a product to sell to consumers for profit, if consumers don't like their product they make changes.
Argh, the cost of game development is killing the industry. So few companies are willing to make a new IP now, they just keep on throwing out sequels to minimise the financial risk. I realise this is a business and they need to protect their own arse but it still sucks. I just want to play something new.
@Falconoffury @Kraken422 I know that. It's the only way console shooters work. My question was more whether there are any console gamers delusional enough to think that controllers are better or do PC gamers just like showing off their better peripherals? In the rest of the comments there's a lot of PC gamers speaking as if there is a debate about which is better, does such a debate even exist?
As a console gamer I've never suggested that a console controller is more or as precise as keyboard and mouse. Do people actually claim this or are PC gamers just trying to one up console gamers?
I'm reading this as a primary focus on online multiplayer and none of the split-screen fun that made me love SW:BF2 so much, but that's where gaming is at the moment, I can't expect anything else.
@WantYouBad I kind of have to agree with you here, the "effects" your choices had were over-rated. In fact the game, although very good, was over-rated.
