Those were the best. What happened to him anyway?

He got a job making games for EA.

They just need to do whole numbers out of ten. gaminggeek

I agree. the whole .5 rating system is useless. Keeping it simple makes more sense. An 8.0 = Great; an 8.5 still = Great.I don't see the point.

The one thing I hate about this new review system is those stupid icons. They don't make any sense when I look at them, so I'm forced to put my mouse curser over them to find out what they mean. Just dumb, IMO.

The only hand cramps I ever got from my DS Lite was when I played Metroid Hunters. The cramps were so bad I had to quit playing the game. Other than that, no problems.

My dream system would basically be like a Neo Geo with:

  • 32-bit color on-screen
  • 480i and 480p widescreen support required (no HD)
  • Graphics 2D-only, the lastest sprite-based graphics card
  • Animation: 60 Frames per second requirement on all games.
  • Built-in10Gig SD memory
  • 2 SD card slot expansion(games can be installed and played directly off these)
  • Optional HDD support
  • All games purchased/downloaded through internet service (no DVD/CD drive).
  • Wifi and eithernet port built-in
  • Free downloadable demos for all games
  • No online play
  • 4-player offline support
  • $199.99 or less price tag
  • Wireless 4-button Neo Geo-type arcade joystick w/ built-in stereo headphone jack
  • Fully supported by all the top 2D developers
  • Color: Black
  • Size: 3 stackedDVD cases :P

2004 had the better line-up. I played and enjoyed most of those games, but there's only one game on the 2007 list that interests me (MP3).

Super C is coming to VC! It has just been ESRB rated with an E. :)

That's easily worth five bucks.

[QUOTE="MLJ28"]I doubt the Wii is powerful enough to fully emulate the Dreamcast hardware. With or without a HDD.Galen20K

The Wii is MOre Powerful than Gamecube, which was more Powerful than PS2, which was more Powerful than the Sega DreamCast. So Yes it would DEFINATELY be WAY more possible than you think>>>>

I never said the Wii isn't more powerful. I said I don't think it's powerful enough to emulate the Dreamcast hardware which is about half the power of the GC. Xbox 360 has a very hard time properly emulating Xbox 1 games and it's 30 times more powerfull than the Xbox 1. Emulation is a very tricky beast.
