Better online? Nope. The online capabilites of consoles right now match those of PCs in...1998. I don't know why you bring up WiFI. All three systems have that. HD-DVD and BlueRay don't make a system next-gen. It just makes it "multimedia". If the Sega Genesis had included a VHS player, do you think that people would still have bought it when the N64 came out? No.

It's called "licensing", and I'm surprised you haven't heard of it. Case in point, there are a LOT of shooters on the Wii. Unfortunately, they all suck.

People have been saying it since the 360 and PS3 have come out, and I'll say it again here:

PS3 and 360 aren't "next gen". They're simply shinier, prettier versions of the PS2 and XBOX.

They give it away for free until June as a way to reward the early adopters of the system and the browser.

Having "good graphics" is a cheap way to flame other games and other systems.

Case in point, look at the original XBOX when it came out. It had some sweet graphics, so everyone was like, "Hah! PS2 sucks! Go XBOX!!!". Yes, XBOX was sweet, but PS2 had(has) sooo many games that made it fun. Luckily, some people knew this and many gamers stuck with their PS2 and were very satisfied.

The same exact thing is happening now with the so-called "360/Wii/PS3 wars"...

I could probably bounce back and forth between those two for the next 18 months and still be totally engorssed.

I could care less about graphics, to tell the truth.

If MS was still coming out with quality games on the original XBOX, I'd still be buying them and I'd still be enjoying them. Same thing with the (rest in peace) Dreamcast. Same thing for the freaking PSOne, honestly!

The main reason that I went with the Wii was innovation. Yeah, PS3 and 360 LOOK sweet, but their games are just slightly better, prettier versions of the Halo 2 and FF games we've been playing for the past 10-or-so years. 

The Wii is something else entirely. No one can refute that. Well, the Powerglove can, but we won't talk about that, now will we?
