It is a tad annoying when your trying to rush to save point and you keep getting attacked but it is the only way to gain expirence and make your party strong enough for the major bosses.
If so bad I can find no enjoyment in it, I would trade it in immediately to try and cut my losses. The last few bad games I had fortunately rented or bought cheap and found something enjoyable from it (playing with my sister or the battle scenes of Viking Asgard) so will perserve in those kind of cases.
Yes it swore a lot but nothing they said was that bad with the exception of possibly the climax thing, not enough to drive it to 18. Nor was there the violence or nudity to really make it a mature game, they were right to give teen.
I think it made Raiden popular, though for some their hatred of him in MGS2 was never going to be overcome. Cool? Depends on the person. I like Raiden in MGS2, he was an interesting character going through a difficult time, if anything I liked him less until near the end in MGS4.
I didn't think it was the best I had ever played but it was an enjoyable game and I did like Niko. My problem was the end mission, suddenly change from fighting to driving and not cars but the hard to control ones.
