I don't mind either way, there have been some good female and good male leads, there has also been poor ones of both genders. What matters to me is that they make me care about them, sad when they are and happy when something goes right for them, organility and good story helps there.

FF13 seems more my type of thing but we will see, hopefully both will be good games.

lol well it feels like i'm the only one that felt anythang at the end.

It certainly made me feel sad, losing two of the characters I had enjoyed, Auron and Tidus. Auron at least seemed tired of the world, ready to go the Farplane to be among friends but the loss of Tidus was very sad, having the lovers split apart, unaware of the ending for X-2 (though the goodbye X-2 ending was better written then the fan pleasing perfect one for me.) I had found Tidus annoying but he and Yuna grew on me as the game went on, I was hoping they would be happily married ever after. I'm a sap for that thing but yeah, I found the way things went emotional.

Not really, sure the game didn't live up to the hype brought by press and past performances but it was still a very good game, I had weeks of fun with it. My problem was the bit near the end with the boat, I'm not a fan of the helicopter/boat stuff they force on you sometimes and I certainly wasn't there, having to get it at right speed and angle or fail.

My name is Jude, from England, I read a fair amount of books with biographies and fantasy being my favorite genres but I'll read anything that seems interesting. I had picked up Star Ocean to try out the genre, I liked it, my father loved it so when we read a review of some game called Final Fantasy X, we decided to give it a try. I loved it, absolutely loved it, from the beautiful graphics (my sister remembers the forest), the music, the emotional pull as the characters evolved and the story progress, all the way to a heart-rendering ending. Lacked the time to complete X-2 or the next Final Fantasy though did see my father completing X-2, should have enough time when XIII rolls around next year.

I'm a Wei-ist, been a long time fan of the game, read the novel and know something of the sgz. My favorite character has tended to be Pang Tong and Diao Chan, first for the humour and the second for the traditionally excellent storyline.
