Not in all games, i can play skyrim,Batman Arkham City Game Of The Year Edition,Assassins Creed 1 and 2, Gears Of War Etc. In 10 20 years or more if my console is still working. Of course without the online patch and DLC and everything but i can play that games whenever i want. Thats Why i Buy the Game Of The Year Edition they come physiscal with the patch on disc and all the DLC.I play Borderlands Game Of The Year Edition with no problems offline all the time. And Batman Arkham City Game Of The Year Edition.
Thats why i never download anything on XBox Live including DLC and if you read the Terms And Conditions. They can decide everything about your digital purchases. If digital only is going to be the future. Thats the day i Quit Gaming.
@ggregd I Was just exageraring of course there are games that excellent to play multiplayer. But also there are games that multiplayer is just an obstacle of development in single player games. Games like Assasins creed, Dead Space, Elder Scrolls,Bioshock, Mass Effect,etc. Has to be single player only maybe a little coop but i dont know if Dead Space 3 is going to be good with coop. But Borderlands is the only game i see that can be the perfect mix between Coop and SinglePlayer i like that one.
Wow Finally Good News about Video Games. I Hope all the Videogames will not feature Multiplayer. Single player experiences are the best. Multiplayers is just to pass time and do the same thing again and again the same thing. In Single player you are the heroe, is youre experience, you decide what you want, you change the story, is you who are inside of the game. I Mean Single Player is not a game is an Experience. Good work For the Developers to do that. Im Going to Preorder it Now, We Have to support This.
I Hope it has Buttons, and a mini slot, so you can buy physical games as well as digital games i want both. I know, I Know, im an old Gamer and the future is digital cloud or whatever. But i Also like to collect physical games. And I Think this tablet, is never going to be like that.
This is killing gaming. we want the full game. Developers listen to us. We dont want cloud gaming, we dont want Digital downloads,we dont want Free To Play Games,we want to have ownership on the games we buy, give us the complete game.
That is a Wrong comparison. Its like comparing that Doritos, Fritos, Peanuts, Potato Chips sells more than the Mcdonalds French Fries. They have to compare product vs The same Product. Who sells more Mcdonalds French Fries or Burguer King French Fries. Its the same here, Who sells more COD Skyrim Borderlands vs Digital COD Skyrim Borderlands. And i bet Physical sells like 6 times or more than the digital product.
I cant understand why some people likes more to buy games digital than the physical copy. Digital you dont own the game. We have to do something, next gen consoles are coming. I dont know if the rumor is true about block used games and everything. I dont care about blocking used games, the real problem here is the ownership of the games we buy are going to be a thing of the past. We cant let this happen. Whats the point to buy a game if you dont own the game. If next gen goes digital only or the developers dont want gamers to own the games i quit gaming.
Digitall Downloads are only good to rent videogames, but to buy a full AAA Title Digitally sucks. Also I never Buy DLC Because the developers must sell you the full game physically for 59.99, I dont Like to give more money to them for more levels and all of that thats a rip off. And I Dont Think Digitall Downloads in videogames are going to sell more than physical copies, There Are A Lot of people who prefer having the physical version than the digitall. Videogames are like comics there are a lot of gamers who like to collect the box of his videogames in his room and to have the disc. If halo reach goes digitall on day one i bet that is going to sell very very bad there are not going to be preorders, no more lines at the stores no more nothing, digitall downloads are going to kill videogames when all games are 100% digital Downloads. If videogames goes 100% digitall i never buy a game again.
