Well they had to come up with something after GTA5 sucker punched them. You can always count on sex selling.

@LordCrash88 I think everyone that first played a Paradox game had this kind of experience, but we all end up addicts. My advice to you is just go for it, don't worry that you don't know half of what you are doing, just focus on one thing at a time and let everything else go pear shaped. Keep playing until you suddenly realize you should have been doing something differently, then restart. Rinse and repeat, then suddenly you'll 'get it'.

I'm so addicted to Crusader Kings II right now that I worry that this game will disappoint me with its focus more on strategy and tactics and less on dynasty building, melodrama and intrigue. Of course I will be playing it though, and importing my crazy empires from my CK2 games, still, I'm secretly holding out for Crusader Kings III.

I really hope that guy that drove over all those people in a car in California recently doesn't turn out to be a GTA addict or something. At least please not until GTA5 has been safely released! Please!

Why is there an anti-video game lobby anyway. I don't get it, usually you can see the angle like someone is trying to make money or be selfish or align their politics with their religious beliefs, but in this case it's more like a case of a bunch of senators deciding to take away kids toys for the hell of it.

@CruCible727 @Mausolus @bmart970 Yeah actually you have a point. There was that guy that drove over all those people in a car recently.

I may have to revise my anti-gun stance (although I'm still holding onto my hate of the NRA).

The question that needs to be answered is "Why do [typically] Americans like to take a whole bunch of other people out with them when they pop a gasket whereas in some other countries it's more typical for people to off themselves quietly"

One thing I am definitely 100% sure about. IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH VIDEO GAMES!

@CruCible727 @Mausolus @bmart970 I'm pretty sure the only thing that links all the mass killings that have gone on recently are guns. If you can't remove motive, then remove opportunity.

@bmart970 Dramas like this get the NRA to throw loads of money around hoping to desperately distract people from the real issue (guns). That must be good for the economy somehow?

@matticles @Mausolus I think it's a pretty valid observation actually. But it IS off-topic.
