ahahah you're out of your mind today!
what's the one thing Ps3 is ahead in?i don't understand why cows are making such a big deal about 360 games being hyped as the best looking games on consoles, then being proven wrong when they end up not looking as good as some PS3 exclusives.Seriously, since like 2006 cows have been making endless threads about 'the PS3 will overtake the 360 in sales this year', or 'the PS3 has a better overall games library than the 360 now' or 'The 360 is maxed out now (hell, that started a couple months after the first Gears of War game)' and have been proven wrong again and again. Yet when it comes to the one thingthe PS3 is ahead in, you guys keep trying to call the argument as being over, even when games like Gears of War 3 are on the horizon.

Pc gaming is treated like the fifth wheel, that's the truth.
Pc gaming is not dying, but it's not getting what it should deserve either.
consoles are what devs care about the most, except for the Indie's.
it may appear that Ps3 is on a roll this year, but there won't be a crazy amount of AAAE games, although 4-5 of them have a good chance. but I think that the real problem is that Microsoft is doing so little in the exclusives department, maybe they don't even care that their exclusive lineup is so poor compared to the ps3's, knowing that Ps3 exclusives won't be a threat for them in the real world at all. Kinect will suffice to outshine everything that the Ps3 can offer, which is sad from a gamer standpoint.
I can't help noticing that at the electronic stores people are all gathering around the Kinect box and wait for their turn to try Kinect Sport or Dance Central, while the ps3 gets much less attention, although the Move peripheral is well displayed. and we're talking about Italy here, a Sony territory.
what does this mean for the future of gaming and exclusive titles? Basically the companies will have a huge focus on the mass market and the fight will no more be exclusive games per se, but rather how you interface to them, because that attracts the mass more. It'll result in a huge casualization of gaming, although the core audience won't be totally forgotten, except we all can see that Ms is playing safe, releasing few high budget exclusive titles but that'll ensure good revenues.
but they can risk funding exclusive Kinect titles, because the ordinary Joe will be attracted by X new IP because it'll pay with Kinect, while the core gamer will mainly see the value of said game; Kinect has the potential to bring the casual and the core market together, but while the casual audience is resulting to be an easy target, how are they gonna convince the core audeince into Kinect?
what do you guys think about this year's secnario and about the success of each company? will the PS3 exclusives eventually pay off or will they be outshined by the so called "new way to play" ?

I'm gonna agree with aia..how does this thread belong on SW? this forum has become an off-topic section...

Again... when members bombared the forum on the Kinect or Move in last months, it was accepted.... Now someone showcasing a new innovation of hardware on the Pc does not get the same rights?
in fact that's wrong too. SW should be renamed Salad of Everything or something. oh wellI'm gonna agree with aia..how does this thread belong on SW? this forum has become an off-topic section...
