I think both physical and digital copies will coexist, atm I prefer physical copies due to my crappy connection.

So we've seen motion controls in action and appreciated some aspects and hated others. I think that a cool solution would be building joypads which can work as motion controllers when needed - i.e. aiming - that way we could have the best out of the two worlds in one solution.

Personally I think joypads are still the best controllers, but aiming with the thumbstick can be really slow and frustrating, whereas a motion control system pretty much simulates the act of shooting - like handling a gun -. Of course it won't ever be as precise as a mouse, but with some practice you can improve the aiming and speed.

I also thought that Kinect could be a good solution, but without some sort of feedback, without holding something, I don't think that it could work.

what say you?

Rip off just stop it. This 60 dollars gives you a year long gateway to what the other consoles dream of having with online gaming. Nexflix, twitter, online play, Last.Fm, doesn't matter if these things are available on PS3, Wii and the PC they are all integrated into XBL in one lump of gaming bliss that is light years beyond the dark age online gaming on PSN and PC. 60 dollars is almost undercharging.FIipMode
what..I don't even.. Pc online gaming is bad?

Hai d00d, I'm a PC and 360 gamer, and I don't give two ****s about paying for Live. Make me care about the 'ethics' of Microsoft charging, brah. :)

if you are unhappy about paying to play, then change system where you can do it for free.

Ms doesn't care about what's moral for you, they just want to earn as much money as possible and if we let them do it, then their strategy is successful, sadly.

if us gamers are so willing to pay for online, then Sony and Nintendo will see possibly revenues for them, too and will likely follow Ms' path, sadly again.

If the 360's fanbase was like the Pc's, then such scenario would not be possible..

because Pc gamers know better than getting ripped off.

Consolites, me included, have to learn a lot from the so called "hermits", we're like getting anally raped again and again and all we do is fighting to protect our beloved console/s of preference.

I think this should end all the Microsoft bashing topics and do a personal mea culpa instead, cause it's our ( gamers ) fault if feed and overpay those companies' accessories/services/prodcuts.

especially when they got a capable computer?

why'd someone prefer the console version of a game, when it plays and runs better on their computer?

Some say because the Pc is a hassle or they hate keyboard + mouse and so on.

But, you just need to install the game and click on the icon and you're done. plus, you can play games on Pc with a controller, too.

Games are less expensive on Pc, you got wonderful deals on Steam, but someohow many gamers still prefer getting the weaker, more expensive console version of that game.

I understand exclusives and console only games, but when it comes to multiplats.. like who the hell witha fine Pc would play Mafia 2 on console?

okay then.. lol just grow up and play video games instead of crying about the companies who make them. and enough with the sheep, hermit and cow thing. unless a fan of a video game system starts to get white fur or udders, then stop with the gay animal names.

Vinegar_Strokes

here on SW we say cow, sheep, lemmings and hermits and it's not gay what's your problem?

you rarely hear them used anymore. and he's right it sounds so childish

opinions. why childish is bad anyway? isn't play videogames somewhat childish too? why is that a bad thing?

[QUOTE="Metroid_Other_M"]

we all should support Sony for still caring about the hardcore audience and criticizing Microsoft for not even trying, because Kinect will likely be very successful.

yes, we don't know yet what titles are being planned to build the next Microsoft's exclusive lineup, but the path Microsoft is taking is clear.

Everyone bashed Nintendo for "ruining" gaming and I partially agree with those people, but even Nintendo showed that they still care.

but I guess those are just trivial words and nothing can stop the casualization and raping of our favorite hobby.

The PS3 FULLY supports M/KB, its up to the developers to take advantage of that. Or Sony could make it mandatory..... which they wont. Kokuro_Kun
by "fully" I mean that it's implemented in all/most of the games.
