Well on a positive note, there's alot of good stuff coming for the Wii U.
BUT... if you one of those gamers who has already played some of the current third party games on other systems (like Mass Effect, Batman Arkham City, Call Of Duty, Darksiders 2, etc) then yeah, you're probably pretty bored with the system. Only an original Wii owner who has never touched any of those titles before will see this line up as GOLD. It's neither a good or bad thing because Nintendo needs these titles regardless and launching with them was the right move.
But as for exclusives, there's only Super Mario U, NintendoLand and ZombiU. Personally, I'm not much of a Mario enthusiast, but I don't hate Mario games either. But launching with only those 3 exclusives is pretty "meh." In my honest opinion, ZombiU is the best game of those 3 (yes I said it, deal with it).
Had there been a new Smash Bros U game, a new Metroid game, a new Mario Kart game or maybe even a NEW IP, maybe there would be a little more excitement over the system. I think the hardware is great despite what lots of you trolls say, but the system's content is very underwhelming thus far. There's just isn't much to play right now.
Clearly, January was a very bad month for the Wii U. Febuary will probably be a bad month too because nothing to coming out for the Wii U. But I still think it's far too early to sound the Wii U's death-bell. The system is still 3 million sold world wide which is good for the time it's been out no matter what anyone says. HOWEVER... if nothing improves for the Wii U after the games do start coming out (which will start happening in March), then I would definitely start to worry.
@WingChopMasta Before you even utter another word, cure your ignorance by reading << LINK REMOVED >> completely and entirely. Educate yourself as to what exactly is going on and rethink what you just said.
Because frankly, I don't think you know what's really happening here.
Wow UbiSoft, are you really going to try to sway us with a Demo of the game while the actual game for the Wii U is already completed and ready to go?
Just give us the game. Screw the Demo. You've already juiced your programmers to finish it. They've already put in the hard work you asked for and made tons of personal sacrifices to get it into our hands on time. And all you wanna give us is a Demo?!
I'm sorry UbiSoft, but all of you... ALL OF YOU need to take a class to learn how to serve your customers better. This is a slap in the face not only to us Wii U owners, but to the teams that worked so hard to make sure the completion date was met so that you could release it on time.
