Funny, I was thinking about these channels the other day and kinda missing them (since I traded in my original Wii towards a Wii U at launch).

I was kinda hoping they would bring some of these channels or (something like it) to the Wii U later down the road. Wii Street U from Google is a bit of a step in that direction.

@Bl4KD37H There are three things I think could help the Wii U: They could start cranking out games (fast), they can drop the price of the unit by $50 and they can make their bundles a bit more attractive (a ZombiU Skinned/Colored Wii U console with the ZombiU Bundle would have been an awesome incentive).

These things have all worked for them in the past with the DS line. I think it could work for the Wii U as well. But games have to come first.

@Bl4KD37H The problem with that is that some of the Wii U's channels require the Gamepad to be used. Features such as Netflix, The Nintendo eShop, Miiverse, Hulu Plus, Amazon Video, YouTube, Nintendo TVii and the Internet Browser will all become lost to you without the Gamepad. None of them will work with any other controller. So you see, you can't really can't really be without one (which sucks).

I would buy one for $199. But it has to have games too. I don't want it to just lay around like my PSP did.

I love this game to pieces. It's not for everyone though.

Well, the speculation has finally come to an end and the Troll food supply has dried up. Sony has put it all out there now and the bottom line is what we see is what we get.

I thought it was a very good show personally. But if you were hoping for some massive over-powered hardware monster, you now know it's not. If you were hoping Sony would steer clear of the social aspect, unifying all your devices and what-not for a connected community (Ala Wii U) you now know it's going down the very same path.In fact, there are a ton of similarities between the PS4 and that other console. Even the tech demos (which are about a year apart now) look equally brilliant.

Before any of you think I'm bashing on Sony, I'm not. I own a PS3 too. But my question is this: What's it going to cost me? Cuz I'm absolutely NOT going to vest $400-$500 for this. It's nice and I like it, but it is not the ground-breaking revolution Sony is trying to make it sound like. It's certainly not worth that kind of dough.

I loved this game on the 3DS and I'm really looking forward to it on console.

If you've never played it before on the 3DS, you're in for a treat!
