As a fellow thief fan, have you ever played the fan made missions and story lines for thief 1 and 2? Some are amazing and there is even ones that have as many missions as the base game with new voice actors and everything. Check them out as well as the mods to improve graphics, widescreen and textures. Also the dark mod is a custom map theif game in the doom 3 engine, it's fun as well.

And man I miss medieval 2 , I think i will fire it up!

If it were my last I would add Ultima VII: The Black Gate. That was one of the first games that made me feel like I had agency in a massive world. I could rifle through people's drawers, find a hidden bag of gems by tossing someone's pillow off a bed, or even drag a powder keg into the castle nursery to blow up some babies and proceed to wear their dirty diapers as armor. Okay, that last one was probably a little strange but isn't it cool that you could do it?

Well If you are going to go old school... you might as well add Ultima Underworld (the first real 3d rpg), Wing commander 2, and the gold box AD&D games... Hell throw in might and magic 3-8 in there too... Amazing games that shit all over consoles.

@Cloud_imperium: Played all those except Starcraft 2. I never got over having to buy the game 3 times to get the full game crap. Of course I started hating blizzard when warcraft 3 came out... I hated wc3... They turned armies form warcraft 1 and 2 into heros and ughh.. I didn't like (probably why I think mobas are a shit genre)

Theif 1 and 2, Dues ex, torment, witcher, neverwinter nights 2, baluders gate, freelancer, rome 1 and medieval total war , and company of heroes all are great masterpieces of pc gaming!

It's a shame that pc gaming doesn't get as many games like this any more. Sure there are some but there are more stupid free to play shooters and mobas, and multiplayer only indies more than anything else.

It also sucks that total war Rome 2 was crap! I was so looking forward to that game and it was horrible, even with all the patches. The diplomacy is crap and their is no family trees etc... crap game compared to rome 1. Now I hope we get a medieval 3 total war and it has all the elements from 2, but it seems creative assembly is too much into crap I could car less about. I don't care about warhammer. :(

That was old MS... now they don't have any founders. it's a guy who I don't even remember his name running the show.... and they lost their identity. Pretty much when Gates left the company started going downhill.

Disagree ... I couldn't stand Dark souls 2... The horrible health drain, the mobs who stop respawning, preventing farming., the annoying enemies, and level design that is just ass. No I Dark souls 3 is so much better. It feels very Demon Soulsy to me, which is a good thing as that was always my favorite.

As for linearity... Dark souls 2 was so linear, it sucked, if you got stuck on something there was nowhere else to go, as its sometimes good to go on and come back. Damn I couldn't stand ds2..worst in the series, by far!

I did, but it was for AC:syndicate a game a few months old for $20 on sale. Oh and got Xcom - Plus, Civilization rev 2, and UnEpic on Vita last month too (xcom is so good on the handheld! )

As for this month, Salt and Sanctuary and just got Dark souls 3 (both rock and would recommend both! ) Next purchase will be uncharted 4.

This... I loved the first game, but I refuse to support with cash money, any game that has Anita Sarkesian on the pay roll.. Until they stop catering to people who petition the UN to censor games and people (because, god forbid someone criticizes the insane radical leftist ideology).

So yeah, voting with my wallet... not going to buy.

@TheEroica: Been playing s and s for days now. Love this game. Got 4 characters. Right now i am working on my level 25 warhammer heavy build for massive damage.

nothing because I am broke :( .... family and kids == no loot for games. (why did this have to happen this year? )lol..

My thoughts exactly. I hae no instrest in this or battleborn or any of these ultra cartoony areana games or mobas. Of course I think league of legends and dota are shit too.
