first and foremost let me start by saying that im a huge 360 fan, even though I do own both the PS3 and 360 I do think the 360 is currently the better console.. BUT, after playing the Halo 3 beta a few months ago at the time I thought it was really good. But after being in the COD 4 beta and after seeing the amazing Killzone 2 footage, I cant help but to be underwhelmed by Halo 3. I know I will probably get bashed for this but honestly i dont care, and for those doubting im telling the truth my Gamertag is Hallowed Saint.

I just finished watching the Killzone 2 gameplay videos again on Gametrailers and I just cant deny it anymore, its simply put the most impressive game ive seen this gen so far.. Gameplay is still up in the air on how the game will play but just overall graphics, art and sound, its downright amazing. Next up is COD 4, im in the COD 4 beta and I can honestly say I was totally amazed. The graphics, gameplay, sound effects EVERYTHING about the COD 4 beta is just downright amazing.. Then Halo 3 beta which I was also a part of a few months back, I do admit at the time I thought it was great but after playing COD 4 and seeing Killzone 2, my standards have risen on FPS and unfortunatley Halo 3 just doesnt measure up.

Now dont get me wrong, I love the Halo franchise and I have Halo 3 paid off already at my local gamestop, heck im even taking a day off work and doing the midnight launch to get it.. But i do honestly think COD 4 and Killzone will be better IMO..

I know that more games will be coming out for next year but right now these are the 3 games on each console that we know for a fact are coming out next year and are all hyped to be HUGE.. So far we have..

PS3- Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2 and MGS4

VS

Xbox 360-Alan Wake, Too Human and Ninja Gaiden 2.

Speaking as a owner of both the PS3 and 360 I have to say that even though The 360 is the better console right now hands down, the PS3s line up looks a lot better for 2008. Killzone 2,MGS4 and Gran turismo 5 are pretty much guaranteed system sellers especially with a $399.99 PS3 SKU in the works, once those games release PS3s will be flying off shelves not to mention Socom and Tekken 6 which are both coming out next year as well.

Dont get me wrong though, the PS3 is going to have some good competition next year because Alan wake, Too Human and Ninja Gaiden 2 will be amazing but honestly Killzone 2, MGS4 and Gran turismo 5 will sell a lot more.. Thoughts?!

I was doubting Ratchet and Clank a lot since sony hasnt had any luck with games lately aside from Warhawk. Im a owner of both the PS3 and 360 and would consider myself a hardcore 360 fan, Well I actually was one of the lucky ones that got the Ratchet demo at Gamestop the other day and lets say that i was very impressed and honestly think it will be Sony's first true AAA title and system seller. Ive played the demo through about 5 times already and still cant get enough. The Groveton Disco ball is highly addicting and very entertaining (the weapon that makes the enemies dance) aside from that, the graphics are goregous, acting is superb as always, gameplay is a blast and frame rate and controls are silky smooth. This game will get 9.0 here with flying colors!

A lot of people are worried that this game will just be another rehash and not bring anything new to the table. Well let me make you feel better by saying this game feels totally fresh from the other ratchet series. There is even one part of the demo that you have to use the Tilt axis controls and believe it or not it feels very smooth and precise, and thats saying a lot coming from me because I actually HATED the tilt axis controls with a passion, but yea this game feels totally fresh

The gameplay was very addicting and engaging. I was very well suprised.

As everyone knows by now, Gamestop was giving away free Ratchet and Clank demos and I happened to get one. I do own both the PS3 and 360 and I would say im a very hardcore 360 fan and Play my 360 daily, My PS3 I play maybe a couple times a month. So I got home today with Ratchet and Clank demo in hand and fired it up on my PS3 and the only thing i was thinking is its going to be disappointing like all the other PS3 titles (Aside from Warhawk, that game owns) But After playing through the demo once, I was very very impressed. The controls and frame rate are silky smooth, Using the "Groveton" disco ball and making the enemies dance is addicting and highly entertaining, acting is superb believe it or not and the Gameplay is very nice and very fun.

The only complaint i have about it is the sound quality, dont get me wrong the sound itself is good. The music, effects etc are great but the quality wasnt that great hopefully it will be fixed by release. But year, I definatly see atleast 9.0 score in this game's future
