He saves everyone he can. No matter what race. He never even lived in America.[QUOTE="DuDisNow"][QUOTE="Rigour_Mortise"]I think master chief was too "american hero"eymynameisdumb
haha LMAO. I love the MC defense ;) .
master cheif is indeed the classical american hero steryo type, and that has nothing to do with him being patriotic and things like that, hes just the same type of hero we see alll the time on american movies, thats why so many people say hes bland and generic, and i agree with them.
Wii probably costs about $50 to make and it sells for $250, we already know the motion sensing costs about $2 to make. :| Nintendo are making tons off cheap hardware. Milkage.Dahaka-UK
i heard nintendo wanted to sell it for much less, but retailers didnt want to profit laughble ammounts per unit sold, but iam unsure if its truth

Everyone knows that the PC version with a top notch PC will look better than the PS3 version. That is obvious.
But the question is....would you buy a game that looks a little bit better on PC or a game that looks a little worse on PS3 but has loads more people playing online.
Which game would you buy?
I'm going with the PS3 version.
PS--not every console gamer has a high end PC--I don't..I've got a good laptop though...just that it isn't that good for games.
well like i said my pc is kinda low end these days, i have a amd 939 3700 , 6800 gs 256mb and 2gb of ram, i never tought it would run ut 3 on low with out fps issues to begin with, i was kinda impressed
The funny thing is UT3 on a top notch PC doesnt even look that much better then the PS3 version. The PS3 version looks equilvent to a pc running it at max settings the differnce is its running it around 30 to 40 fps instead of 90 to 110fps but the fact is it runs and looks outstanding on the PS3 .
yea but it runs on medium at 40fps on my 2,5year old pc and my pc never was a high end machine. it looks pretty much the same as the Ps3 version, ut3 isnt a demanding game, hardware wise, pretty much any decent gaming pc can run it
Yes but the PS3 version runs on High with max texture detail and effects. The differnce between UT3 on medium and high though is nothing insane . When I was looking at the benchmarks the PS3 verison runs about the same asa PC playing it on max with a7900gtx and a gig of ram.
[QUOTE="wisdomWarrior"][QUOTE="Haee"]Its too bad thatUT3's PC community pretty much seems DOA.
Haee
agreed but the PC version was rushed. There was problems with the GUI etc. Patches seem to be resolving most of those initial issues. Hopefully more people will get the game and enjoy it and play on the servers.
Its quite funny how poorly this game sold so far judging from the PC's population with an peak to 1000 players but then again the PC defenders will simply say that they refuse to buy it because of it's "consolization" although COD4 was a case of tis too according to them but still sold better then the majority of PC games.
nah, this time arround "consolisation" isnt an issue, the game is pretty much the same as ut99 in terms of gameplay and dosent feel dumbed down, the GUI has a few issues, but they are toralable, the reason this game isnt selling well i guess its because it came out the same time as COD4 and TF2, both games are HUGE online right now, also i think there are a lot more people online on ut3 pc then you might think

[QUOTE="WSP87"][QUOTE="WuTangG"][QUOTE="Mizarus"]No just no:lol:On a standard or 480p screen, Wii may in fact be able to do more than 360 or PS3 with this much RAM, but I don't see that happening at all.
Mizarus
i know that is frigging sig worthy lmfao!!!!
i dont remember sayng that, but maybe i meant using the same ammount of ram? or i just was on crack
ahh i got it what i meant was that using this much ram the wii should be able to do better then its counter parts since it uses lower resolutions, while that can make some sense the wii wont be able to suprass its counterparts in terms of graphics due to other technical limitations, i obviously was under effect of some drug that day, feel free to sig me =p
