Let's see a game like CS being run with 4 players on one screen, then we'll talk. Of course, such actions are highly impractical but efficiency has nothing to do with this topic.

a pc could handle 4player split screen of CS anytime, they just need to make the game suport it, CS can play on almost any pc, there are a few games on pc that suport 4players screen, they just dont come as a standard feature since pc already has online for over a a decade now

If you could give me some concrete examples instead of theory, that would be great. However, I still do not understand how it's possible to hook up four mice and four keyboards to one computer and have them work simultaneously.

my pc has 6 USB slots, most people have more, you can addup as many as you want thats not really the issue.

even if a game does not suport split screen, (but suports multiplayer) you can hook up 2 monitors to your pc open 2 copys of the same game and use hamachi to emulate a LAN.

i just came up with this idea any one ever did anything like this before?

Thats not split screen though, because the screen is not actually split. I want to see one screen (like my 21 inch monitor) that is divided up into four sections with four players interacting with each other in a FPS environment.

thats an idea i came up to play 2 players match on games that dosent suport it on the same pc, its not to use it as an argument against split screen

well not for all games, a few games allow multiples copies running at the same time, but i liked how you solved that issue using multiple users, how much stress did that put on your Cpu and ram?
