@adamms1384 Surprised that people are more mad at the servers going down for maintenance over the game breaking glitch that prevents you from playing at all. Can't play til after class tonight anyway, doesn't bother me a bit.
@mattman127 While I'll agree that the definition of sport contains physical in it, sport is used when two or more people are in a competitive situation. Chess is considered a sport, and I believe gaming has far more "physical" activity in it,
And I'll agree on your other comment, about the Call of Duty hate. Buying a game is a choice, if you don't like that game don't buy it. People commenting about how a game is "crap" or "garbage" because it uses the same engine or because it uses the same basic formula that made it fun in the first place are missing the point of having free choice. When I was a kid I hated Mario but loved Sonic, I never went around the school yard talking about how bad Mario games were. I just didn't play them, and vice-versa. My friends never road my tail about playing Sonic, it's called a personal choice. Activision/Infinity Ward/TreyArch are putting these options (killstreaks, game modes, OHK weapons like knives and tomahawks) in the game because that's what the majority wants. In a business setting majority rules, that's how they get paid the most.
Oh lawd, if this bill passes it'll be like we went back in time to when AOL and Netscape were battling for the king of the net crown. They'll be like 13 websites left, lol
This is all conjecture, Nothing of solid value here. I've been hearing about this topic for about 4 years now. I remember when Sony was supposed to stop making consoles back when MGS4 was about to be released. I have no clue as to why journalism always leans towards making doom articles to spike interest instead of doing actual research. All three of these companies would be insane to leave while their making so much money. I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't entered the Tablet market yet, most companies have already spread out to try to earn as much money from every facet they can.
The only thing holding me back is the prices. Not the price of the system, but the accessories and games. Sony has addressed this, but still the memory card thing is kinda absurd. $30 for 4GB, $120 for 32GB? And the games cost $10 less than PS3 and Xbox 360 new games. I'm not doubting the systems prowess, and I can see myself buying it at $250, but since there's no included memory options the same as with the PSP) is severely limiting my thought of getting one during launch.
