I friggen hate this game so much. :P At least last year it was facts about you so people could learn more, but love/hate hardly teaches anything and MP3 is rather pointless...everyone already knows the bands I'm obsessed with. :P I guess MP3 sounds fun though so I actually am doing the wrong tag because RG said I was supposed to do the other one. Awesome, eh?

I just joined a union called The Mass Designers Union and they told me to try out a few tutorials for GIMP. I didn't realize how much of an improvement they could make. They've helped me with lighting...a lot. The people in the union have helped me with text placement and text color. (Don't put text in a corner or make it the opposite color of the background.) These are such simple things to say, but they helped me a lot and I think these two are some of my best pieces. I also started using pictures for a background on a whim, and I've liked the results a lot more than when I used to paint and distort a background.

Could you guys leave me some comments? It makes me feel good. :P

In other news my birthday is coming up on July 23! You had all better get me presents. :x :P I'm going to get tickets for a Blue October concert in ... October ... I'm really excited. :D

The banner was inspired by a song called Don't Panic by Coldplay. Music has really driven me lately. I recently found out about a band called Vampire Weekend which I thought would be some cliche Twilight riding band, but they turn out to be awesome and have no references to vampires in their songs. :P

That's about all I've got to say right now.

Okay enough of that. :P Super Mario Galaxy 2 is friggen' awesome! The second player is a lot more useful now (freeze + spin combo FTW!) I don't know how many stars there are, but this game has some pretty tough levels. I must say it's really addictive. I got my little brother (step) to play as that orange star and clear the field for me so I could focus on not falling (mainly into the cyclone.) I thought it was awesome that the star guy can freeze green platforms! :D My favorite galaxy so far is definitely The Throwback Galaxy, so many memories! Thomp king is still a wimp. :P

So check out my avatar! :D It's...the same one...but more adorable...to me anyway. :P I made the hat more curvaceous and the moustache longer. His eyes are lower too. I really want to make a sig too, I'm in the mood, might do it soon.

I bought Congratulations (The album) by MGMT at Hot Topic! It's the first CD I've ever bought! It's awesome too! :D I Found a Whistle is my favorite song right now (on the album) followed by It's Working, Flash Delirium and Song for Dan Treacy. It's quite a wonderful album. :) The cover art is cool too. :lol: I got the one with the scratch off cover and I scratched that thing like no tomorrow! I love it.

I tried New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It was fun. I'm not going to buy it though. :P

I beat all my cousins at Brawl and one of them is super cocky and talks about how awesome he is at it all the time. Of course he always made up an excuse when he lost, but I won most of the time.

Yep...Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros., and Super Smash bros. :P All Mario games too. :lol:

So I'd give a good bet that most of you did not know me when I was the lowly waytogo24. That's because that was 4 years ago. Yes I've been on here 4 years and yes I was only 11 when I was waytogo24 (that's why that account was banned.) Well since about the first year I was on here, I was mesmerized by these designs that people made for their banners, sigs, tags, and avatars. It was like the first time a little kid went to Christmas. I have to say before I went on gamespot I had never been very artsy, I might paint some watercolors or color some coloring books but nothing ambitious. Anyways when I came on here I hadn't really been impressed by art. I began wondering how I could possibly design like these people. I began doing horribly awful things on MS Paint and showing them off online (or attempting to as I didn't know how to get stuff online back then.) So I've had two friends show off their designing history in about the past week and, like a sheep to a german shepard, I have decided to follow. The beginning is...bad...

Banners:
So banners were the first thing I tried to make...yeah...

I must say I still like my banner for Da Cheat Union. The union never was formed though (someone else tried not me) so I later changed the text and used it for myself. :)

AND FINALLY I BEGAN USING GIMP!!!!

So this was my first attempt at a BANNER in gimp. Yeah...So back then I got images with all white backgrounds and used the magic wand to select it. That's why you see the raggedy edges.

I was really into symmetry back then...

I can't stand to look at this...The text is impossible to read! I made it for Dizzydennis who I had made a banner for a while ago which I thought sucked so bad I had to make another...sucky banner. :P

And this is when I discovered a little thing called "effects" also know as filter in Gimp. I think I went a bit crazy. :P This is also my first "render" in other words no more magic wand. I still think this sucks though. :P

Suddenly get better? I think so. :) So go me! I started making backgrounds instead of using gradients.

Suddenly get worse? I thinks so. :lol: Thankfully Twilight never used this...right?

And now we're back to square 1. :P Also never used...

I can honestly say I think this banner is bad***. :P

Nikki had completely forgotten where she had been driving to. She had been going to her grandmother's funeral, and she had to be there. It brought tears to her eyes now that she realized she would never see her grandmother again. Yet Nikki felt reborn. She could remember anything that had ever happened in her life, everyone she had ever met, what they had said to her, and she could quickly assess people's intentions and even general personalities now. She could tell that Nicole was a natural born leader, who was humble in the way she did things which made her easily likable. She could tell Squirrel was proud of herself and quick to judge others, whether good or bad. She could tell that Aidan went with the flow and quickly adapted to situations. She didn't like Leon and was not sure why. She could tell that he was a hardened warrior of some sort and really wanted to be in control. She knew she couldn't go to her grandmother's funeral, she had a mission, and she had to be there every second of the way.

Squirrel was angry. She was extremely mad at Leon for not even congratulating her at beating the cyborg, just because it destroyed some lame satellite of his. She felt much tougher now, like she could fall from space and survive, even without those stupid gloves of Leon's. She looked over at him and glared every couple of seconds, the helicopter was on autopilot so he wasn't even flying it.

"Can't it go faster." Squirrel said, her eyes squinted down to slits, acid burned with every word.

"No. Would you like to fly us there instead?" Leon said.

"Oh shut up, you're so arrogant." Squirrel said. The air felt electric.

"Squirrel calm down." Nicole said, she could tell that she didn't want this to escalate. They would lose a ride...and Leon did have a laser. Then again Squirrel was invincible if she was in trouble, and she now had special abilities. Luckily, Nicole could see Courtney, Red, Jet, and Michael suspended in midair. Leon flew over to them. They all backed up to some invisible wall as Leon landed on the floor. They quickly hopped in.

"I thought you would never come get us!" Courtney said, sounding more flustered than impatient.

Nikki was introduced to the four new people by Nicole, then suddenly her vision tunneled. Everything slowly went black and she fell to the ground. Then she found herself floating in absolute darkness. A small light appeared, which Nikki floated to slowly. It was bright green and looked like a fire contained within an orb. She touched it. Suddenly a huge projection of her future was blown up in front of her. She saw what would happen after they flew away from that room in the sky. They would be confronted by a large golden cyborg. He was huge, he didn't need to fly to reach them, he just stood on the ground and was easily above them. Nikki suddenly lost the vision and found herself on the floor in the helicopter. Everyone except Leon was looking at her when she recovered.

"Are you okay?" Nicole asked.

"We will be confronted by Ichor very soon." Nikki replied. She didn't even know who Ichor was, it just came out.

"We already know that." Squirrel said, she pointed out the window to a the giant cyborg from Nikki's vision. It would be impossible to miss. She noticed Leon was already shooting some missiles from the helicopter at it. They didn't seem to do anything. Courtney was using some kind of spell on it that seemed to be holding it in place. Ichor was holding a huge sword that went from his head to the ground, which was saying a lot. Courtney's spell weakened and the creature slowly lifted the sword.

"Leon, fly as close to its face as possible." Nikki said.

"What?" Leon said, "That would just kill us."

"Trust her, she knows what she is doing." Nicole said. Leon flew right in front of Ichor's eye.

"Squirrel, jump!" Nikki said.

"What!?" Everyone seemed to shout at the same time.

"You have to!" Nikki said with a stern look. Squirrel gave everyone a skeptical look.

"Please?" Nikki said. "You are invincible and you have abilities no one could imagine."

Squirrel still looked skeptical but reluctantly she jumped onto the creature's eye which she realized were just empty holes. Aidan suddely jumped next to her.

"Apparantly I have to go too." Aidan said when Squirrel looked at him. They walked down the tunnel that was the lifeless opening of the eye. Then when they reached the end they found a cavernouse room with some kind of liquid at the bottom. A small pole was in the middle going from the bottom of the room to the top.

Nicole wondered what Squirrel and Aidan could possibly be doing inside the creature. Would they break some kind of thing that kept it running? Whatever it was they had better hurry because Ichor was swinging his sword at an impossibly fast pace, Leon was barely dodging the swings.

"Find a weakpoint." Courtney said to Nicole.

"It's somewhere inside his head." Nicole said, "Nikki was right." The creature looked like a huge fortress with no weakpoints except a small green dot inside his head.

"Throw me."

Aidan just stared at Squirrel when she said this.

"Come on. Throw me." Squirrel said, pointing to the pole. Aidan looked like he was about to laugh.

"I'm not kidding." Squirrel said. Aidan now looked at Squirrel like she was crazy, but finally Aidan picked Squirrel up and threw her. Aidan was pretty strong ever since he became one of the chosen three and after flying twenty feet Squirrel reached out, grabbed the pole, and span around it building speed. Finally she let go at just the right time and flew into a tunnel on the other side of the room.

"I'll be back soon!" Squirrel said. Aidan just waved with a confused look on his face.

Squirrel sprinted down the tunnel which went at a gentle decline twisting around into a winding walkway. The sides of the tunnel had glowing designs flowing around it that twisted with different colors. Finally it ended at the bottom of that huge room. Squirrel noticed that the liquid was green. She finally mustered up the courage to touch it. It didn't hurt, but then again Squirrel was invincible. She dove into the liquid until she got to the bottom where she saw a glowing orb. It was bright green and looked like a fire was trapped inside. She picked it up and swam back up to the top of the liquid. She got back into the tunnel, began sprinting. When she neared the top she built up speed and flung herself at the pole, barely grasping it she once again flew around it until she finally landed standing right next to Aidan.

"Whoa. That was freakin' sweet!" Aidan shouted. They both quickly got out of the eye, realizing the creature was no longer moving.

"We did it." Squirrel said grinning. The helicopter got close to them and they hopped in.

So the only conference I saw live was the one I didn't want to see. It was also extremely boring. The best parts were Portal 2, LBP 2, and...T_T. That's it. I couldn't pick out a single other highlight from the entire conference. I started surfing facebook and gamespot while they went on about move for 40 minutes. I saw microsoft's last night and it was also disappointing, but I found it much better than Sony and at least I own an Xbox 360 which makes the whole thing actually relevant.

In other news I'm ungrounded. :) So...yeah...:P I played Borderlands up to level 41 and I started Assassin's Creed. I've been hanging out with my friends more than anything though. It's too bad none of them really play video games...I mean some own the consoles but don't actually....do anything with it.

I don't have much else to talk about except how it's taking forever for them to get the Nintendo replay. I slept right through it and woke up right when the **** Sony conference started. T_T

Nikki was walking down a road. The asphalt was new and gleamed black. The sun was high, the burning asphalt sent shimmering waves in the air. As she looked up that was all she could see, the shimmering heat waves and the endless road. She couldn't believe how she had gotten into this mess. She was driving from Las Vegas to California to visit a dying family member. Was is the key word. As she had gotten deep into the Mohave Desert she realized she was nearly out of gas, with a small gas station twenty miles behind. Her cell phone was dead and she had forgotten to bring a car charger. The car had soon sputtered to a stop. She thought the only choice was to walk, so she had gotten out and began the long trek back. She had black hair that was perhaps a tad less than shoulder length. It looked a little frizzy, but in a way that made her look rebellious and different. She wore a simple white shirt and some blue capri pants. Her eyes were light blue in a way that made her look sympathetic. She wouldn't believe what happened next. She saw a figure in the sky. It was just a black dot so she thought it was a bird or a plane at first, but then it started to become an actual person. She thought it was a guy around seventeen with spiked hair. She then realized it wasn't spiked, his hair was just flying straight up because he was falling. His eyes were wide and soon she heard a piercing scream. He was wearing strange gloves, his palms were facing the sky. Then, right before his death, he flipped them and slowly came to a halt. He went into reverse a bit, then pointed his palms back up and landed on the ground. He took the gloves off and grumbled. Nikki wasn't sure if he had seen her yet, they were a few yards away. After he got his barings he looked over and saw Nikki. He walked over. Nikki wasn't sure if she should run or not. She held her position.

"Hello, I'm Aidan." The man who had just fallen thousands of feet said. He stuck out his hand. Nikki refused to shake it.

"What...are you?" Nikki said with a skeptical look on her face. She was annoyed with Aidan, she thought he was a mirage and that she was dying in the middle of the desert. This was a sure sign. Then two more people were falling. A man yelled to another figure. "Wait for it!" A woman said, "I know! " They soon landed in the same manner as Aidan, the man with perhaps more finesse. They were closer than Aidan had landed and immediately walked over. The man seemed to be annoyed with the world, his eyes squinting at the sun. The way he walked seemed unnatural, something about him was off and Nikki didn't like it. The woman looked stern. She also looked like she was annoyed. Neither seemed as easygoing as Aidan.

"Squirrel hasn't fallen yet," Aidan said, "She might have a chance." The woman gave a sigh, which sounded like she thought otherwise.

"This is Leon and Nicole," said Aidan for the two who must have been too angry to introduce themselves. Nicole seemed to give Nikki a small polite smile, then she looked back to the sky. After a couple minutes another figure was falling. Nikki looked up and decided this was a woman too. She had a skater look about her, the wind was making her hair fly everywhere. She landed, pointing her gloves down faster than the rest and eventually falling straight down from a height of about six feet. She looked windswept, her hair was tangled and all over the place, yet she gave everyone a look of happiness as she got up.

"I got it! I used Aidan's sword and killed it!" the woman said. Aidan reached for his sword which Squirrel handed to him.

"Yeah, but you did not save the satellite." Leon said with a look of anger. The woman looked offended that he would question her victory.

"That's Squirrel." Aidan whispered to Nikki.

"Who cares! The rest of you just fell back to Earth!" Squirrel said with her brows furrowed and her mouth slightly ajar. She said the words slowly and with emphasis.

"Well that was our last satellite and the last transmissionsays Ichor is still at large. One experiment was recently active and fought with Courtney on C.E.A.R.'s 300th floor." Everyone seemed to hold their breath when he said this. He then said, "It lost." Everyone except Leon and Nikki shared a smile, knowing Courtney was okay.

"WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!" Nikki suddenly shouted. She slowly reached a hand toward Aidan. When she made contact without passing through him, she realized this was no mirage. She now looked angry that these thrill seekers would interrupt her walk and frighten her.

"I'm sorry." Nicole said, "We did not mean to bother you." Nikki seemed to calm a little. She could feel the concern in Nicole's voice.

Nicole suddenly had a strong feeling. It told her to walk north through the desert sand. It sounded insane but the feeling was so strong that she could not fight it. It was a strong hunger for something in that direction. She felt like she was starving for whatever might be that way. It seemed that Aidan, Squirrel, and Nikki had the feeling too as they all looked in the same direction and began walking. Leon stood there looking at everyone with a confused look on his face.

"Shouldn't we find the others!?" Leon shouted as the rest had already walked a great distance away. The other four pretended not to notice him. They walked slowly through the dry desert scape, the sun beating on their foreheads, the humidity so low that their sweat was only light. They all began to feel extremely thirsty, yet they kept walking. Leon made a complaint that was not answered from time to time as they trudged through the fine sand. Nicole finally stopped.

"It's here." she whispered in a voice. As those words went past her lips a large sandstorm erupted sending flurries of sand everywhere, until they found themselves in a bright white room with elegant tiles. Busts stood on neatly carved pillars around the room, and although there were no lights or windows, an eerie light was spread throughout the room. No shadows were cast and every corner of the room seemed to share the same light as the middle. Leon was no longer with the rest. Finally, a shadow appeared. It was the shape of a person, but no one was there to cast the shadow. The shadow suddenly came off the wall and became a three dimensional entity. It slowly faded into a man who wore a blood red hood over his face. He wore a tattered red robe and held his arms out.

"One is missing." the man said, "Where is the magus?"

"If you mean Courtney, we left her behind." Nicole said in a reverent whisper.

"Never separate the Chosen Three!" the man said. He said never with a demanding shout.

"It will never happen again." Nicole said. She felt guilty and wasn't sure why.

"You have found two more." the man said, "Of course they aren't of the Chosen Three, but they are very important." He gazed off at Squirrel who gazed back at him. "You are the Guardian. After you leave to fulfill your destiny you will be absolutely invincible in times of need. You can't be destroyed and you will feel grand new powers come as the situation becomes more dire. You will not feel energy loss with the use of these powers, but you will not be able to do anything when it is only a small threat."

"Yes." Squirrel said. She said this as if she were agreeing, like she knew this the whole time. The man seemed to control how people acted in from of him. The man turned his attention to Nikki.

"You are special. I'm surprised they found you so quickly." the man said, "You are the Watcher. You will not be able to flee from your destiny, although you will want to. You will always know the next objective, how to get there, and where important people and things are. You will also have strange visions at times of importance. You have no way of defending yourself. If you die the rest of your team will lose sight and not be able to accomplish their destiny. "

"Yes." Nikki said with the same voice as Squirrel. The man now seemed to look at all of them at once, although his eyes were looking straight past them.

"The magus is with three more." the man said, "The cyborg is not anything special, except that he has transportation and strange weapons that may be of help. Never trust him or the man who's heart is his name."

"I'm not sure I understand that last sentence." Nicole said. She knew the man had tried to stop her from questioning him, but she had gotten past it.

"You. do. not. need. to." He said with a decisive voice, glaring at Nicole for breaking the control he had. "Be gone."

With another sandstorm in the middle of the room they were back. They found they had all fallen over so they got up off the dusty sand. They found the desert clear and sunny again.

"Why did you all fall over?" Leon said.

"How long were we out?" Nicole asked.

"About a second." Leon said.

"That was strange." Aidan said.

Nikki's eyes were different. The light blue from before now looked like a crystallinepurple. If you stared too long you could find yourself lost in them, literally. They looked as though they had seen everything.

"Leon. Get us a helicopter out of here. We must pick up the other four in the 300th floor of CEAR" Nikki said, staring straight into his eyes. Leon got a skeptical look.

"We just met you. Why should we listen?" he asked.

"Just do it." Aidan said. Leon eventually obeyed and got them out of there.

Sorry for having a large pause between chapters! It felt good to write again though! :D Sorry if it was a bore.

On Friday night I played a game I had never thought I'd play. My step dad decided to buy FFXIII and I decided to try it. It was...one of the most incredible games I'd ever played. I stayed up until 3 AM playing it. Sure the lines were cheesy! Sure Snow is the most annoying character ever! (For the love of God stop calling yourself the hero) But I have to say that it was exciting. It really sucks you in! But it did have one side effect. Totally killing all chances of me winning the marathon. So just like on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, I'm going to take my bronze medal and run. :P Anyways last night I played D&D with my parents friends and it was pretty fun. It was odd though...because my parents and all these adults were playing D&D. :P

As you all probably know I'm not much for long blogs so...that's it. :P

I am officially at exactly 1000 posts this week! :D Only 2000 to go for that fancy Silver medal! I really don't wanna do any statistics today, just know that I'm at 3861 posts.
