Sleeping was the LEAST of my problems last night, where do i start ?! Came to the kitchen to make a toastie and found a very freaked out kitten on the window sill and the smell of poop was lethal, so I went to see her, stroked a very uopset cat and realised all the ornaments on the sill had been knocked over and that she'd pooped all over the sill. A very not imprssed me then picked up the poop caked cat and put her in the litter box but rather than pooping, she went towards the dinning table and started hissing furiously...to be continued.

...as I looked under the table and there was a massive black cat staring at me !!! Random or what ? I thought I was hallucinating! So I woke up my mum and dad, my dad shooed the mystery cat out and after I finished my toastie :p we all cleaned the kitchen and I gave Mushi a bath, then I had a shower too coz I was stinking like poop too - yuck ! Lol great end to the night huh ? :D

Well anyways we had great timing; even tho we were 1 1/2 late we came at the same time as Mel (a lovely girl with a skin problem) with her funny carer Angie. She had the coolest dress ever - it had hearts, skulls and anchors on it - really piratey :D My helpful friend looked like she was wearing lingerie with flipflops, so i convinced her to wears hesls to make it look more elegant :p heehee! There was burlesque dancing of the weirdest kind, a man coming in and out of a large white balloon (I call him egg man ).Which i thought was very arty and represented my uni well even tho i didn't understand what the heck it was about... everyone went to the barfor drinks so I hung about in thehall and found some friends from my 2nd year, it was cool seeing them again, one of them wore a freaky rabbit mask, "watership down" freaky ! Went to the bar shortly and found my CWS friend who was the purple parallel to my red. Every time she lost her friends she'd find up, she'd appear from no where and was getting very hyper - which i've never seen before. We then watched a tribute band who preformed bon jovi (living on a prayer ?), final count down, take on me and other songs.  They the lead singer sounded like a woman and generally they were quite dire but it was entertaining :p I was getting compliments from random ppl i didn't know and grumpy girl was getting pissed off about it - seriously I was getting concerned for my safety, if she looks could kill i'd be mush on the floor, i rarely get attention and she was so resentful about it (why - i have no idea ???) I got annoyed how she went out of her way not to get any pic's of Mel, which is so petty and mean, why are you so chatty with her if you're going to be rude ?! ARAGH ! So it wasn't the perfect night but every time i ditched her it was great :p I even got a heart felt apology from a gal who i really began to hate this year because she became the smith editor (uni magazine) and the power went to her head and she turned into a witch basically. so she apologised and said we have to meet up and she appreciates our friendship - it made my day ! The most arrogant person ever apologised to me publically ! Yaay !

Then some random guy in a kilt sat next to me and kept trying to flash me and my friends - it was quite disturbing ! After that the dj's played some decent music and we boogied - the best tracks were -

The rest was weird techno # luckily i was getting a lift with my friend Mel as she lived near me.

Anyone who been reading my blog recently knows my ball was on saturday 2nd june and well you all probably expected a blog straight after, but what can i say i was recovering :p

 

Well it started off bad, traffic made me late, got ready at my friend's house, and she was grumpy coz of marital desputes so i was picking up vibes. By the time my 2nd friend came, we all got changed and the diaster occurred...my grumpy friend purposely ripped my zip off. It was on purpose coz she had an elaborate gothic dress coz she likes to recieve attention and instantly got pissed off that my dress was as nice. She didn't even CARE she had ruined it. At this point i was prepared to go home and not go at all. If it wasen't for the other friend, i would have. She tried numberous things to fix it, then the grumpy girl's husband came home, he tried to fix it, (he was more helpful  than his grumpy wife!) for some reason it wasen't happening. So my HELPFUL friend thought she could stitch me in, one problem grumpy mean bitter friend said she had no needles and thread or safety pins (which was plan B) so i was well and truley screwed. So helpful friend went to her boyfriends house to find safety pins, while i rang my mum (loudly to make the grumpy cow feel some sort of guilt) and told her about the zip disaster. I held my composure but I was not happy. Helpful friend got a pin pin from her bf and bought a pack for the rest and we d.i.y-ed the back to look punkand even stuck some pins at the front to make it look intentional. Whilst she was doing this grumpy was like "oh fix my hair for me, and my hat...and can you do my nails, how do my nails look?" - it was annoying, if her husband was there, i probably would of hit her vain head in to the mirror! I decided to make the most of the night and not say anything to grumpy, coz I didn't got to her level and give her the satisfaction.

A few days ago I had no ball outfit, today I have TWO!:(At least they are both red, so which ever one I decide the same accessories apply :pOh eah and when I said I lost my saver for Suk 4 ? I found another copy of my last save point on another card...so the moral of the story is - keep doubles of everything orwhen your blessed your blessed twice ~This has been brought to you by the number 2.Normal blogs shall follow after the ball.JOY ! 

Ok well I've seen both from a neutral point of view, as I've seen all the movies preceeding both. I wrote a short blog about what I thought about Spiderman 3, so I'll do one for pirates b4 I compare the two.

 Pirates 3 - well it carried on from the 2nd, seaching for Jack Sparrow - somehow in loads of films recently they have incorperated japanese culture - somehoe they did it again in this and we're in like a japanese town at the beginning ! A bit too random if u ask me. Anyways I think the monley stole the show. But if we're gonna talk about humans it was all Keira Knightley- and I loathe her very exsistance ! Even Jack was over shadowed. But the ending was great so I was satidfied, plently of action, stupidity and silly accents.In my opinion 8/10

Both down tot he real debate, which is better ? Well in the box office Spiderman 3 is doing better but I prefered pirates. Ok theis may sound blasphemous to all who ahve seen it not once, not twice but over 3 times. I'm not saying it wasrubbish,I'm just saying i was more entertained by a monkey and some pirates. Muscials intertwined with superhereo sagas is bad news for me ! But i know this is vague, but it's my opinion and I'm the not that over-obsessive to note all the pros and cons.

 

Feel free to add any obvious redeeming points of either or dire scenes ~  

4 flipping days till the ball and I have no dress ! *Wahhhhhhhhhhhh* I have a masq, a wig and shoes - what good they'll do me tho without the main outfit !!! Tho I've seen a cool pair of lacey gloves, (bearing in mind I have no dress). I gotta GO shopping like a manic this week...covent garden, l square, camden... the internet has been no help whatsoever. It may cost £20 for a dress but £50 for P & P - no bloody way.

Oh Great my friend's dog died today, so i gotta find a dress AND comfort her...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !! 

Too much, too much !!!!!!!!! 

So anyone who has a an Orange pay as u go or contract is entitled tot he "orange wednesday" promotion, which is buy one cinema ticket and get one free. I txt orange from my old number and i got nothing, i rang ornage to set up a direct debit anyway for that number and i asked why i didn't get an ornage code - the bloke ont he phone said orange only have a certain nhumber of tickets to give away so they must of run out. This has NEVER happened to me before so I was gutted!

Somehow I had a brain wave and decided to ring my bro (who was at work) and ask him to get the code from his orange phone (he'd be working so it would be a waste of a free ticket) and 10minutes later he forwarded me the ornage text. WTF ?! Why ornage is prejudist against my phone, i will never know...

 

So me and my mum drove to Greenwich odeon to watch spiderman. Unfortunately as my day had already got off to a bad start, more annoyances were to follow; the cinema opened late, and the early showing was cancelled so we had to wait 1h 30mins. I was sooo pissed off, even the rought looking chav's didn't wanna stand near me, i looked so aggressive. The problem was i was supposed to meet some friends later to watch the final match between milan and Liverpool (football - i hate it but it's all about the atmosphere :p) so because everything was delayed got there 2 hours late and i was starving - but back tot the movie.

 

When we finally got in, they sent us to the wrong screen, so this other guy complained, i became suspicious, so followed him and if i hadn't have me and my mum would of been sitting in front of a blank screen for 2hours - joy ! After all that crap, the movie was alright, it wasen't amazing, i prefered the 2nd one. Tho when Toby Maguire started dancing like John Travolta from "Saturday night fever" - it did make me think "so by wearing the black spiderman suit, he has gained the ability to boogie." That was my only highlight, even the Bruce Campbell bit was mediocre, trying to be all french but blatently so american. Stan's cameo was funny - some random old man tlaking about life and walking off. I agree with ppl about their being too much songs -what was Sam Rami thinking ? the action was superb tho, the guy who played Harry was awesome, actually Venom and sand man were pretty good too - anything no-action related was pants. so overall I give it 7/10

I can't wait for Pirates of the Carribean and Shrek 3, so they'll be my next must see's.

 

Hopefully on Wednesday me and mum are goign to see Spiderman 3 - i know there have been some harsh reviews but come on guys ! Stan lee and Bruce Campbell do cameos - so it can't be that bad... Also the week after we're planning to see Pirates of the Carrebean 3 too - i can't WAIT ! I'd see it this week except, 1st week rushes - i can't be having some annoying kids in front of me tlaking or couples debating every little thing behind me. *sigh*

Yesterday was the Student Awards Night, I had been informed my CWS (creative Writing society) had been nominated not once but twice ! Really this is a big thing ! We're always overshadowed by the "Smiths" magazine run by my EX-friend Alex - she's become such a pompus idiot after getting the title of editor. Anyways, i heard that the 2 leaders of this society couldn't make it so me a few other memebers wanted to goa nd represent. Only me and one other girl, Leanne, turned up! Funniest thing is that we both didn't expect to get an award full stop or at "the best new society" rather than "society of the year".

 So I wanted t make a night of it, since it was the first time I was going out since my exams, so this may sound horrifying but i wore leopard print tights with  long skirt and really cool layered top with oriental detail in gold so i thought it matched and ankle boots (big mistake) my feet were aching after an hour. I was releived when i saw Leanne who was equally dressed up, she wore a black corset, and a black poofy sjkirt with purple accessories. All in all we were the most dressed up ppl there, i was sort o dissapointed at the lack of effort. 

Somehow while we were debating how we weren't probabaly going to win anything, they announced our ategory and everyone was clapping and as we looked at the powerpoint slideshow our society came up ! We were like "Whaaat ?!" Leanne didn't want to go on her own so she dragged me on to the stage, she explained the leaders had exams and couldn't come because of exams and i added "thanks for the support, yaay !" but for some reason the mike spazzed and all u could here was a loud "YAAY!" - *CRINGE* Everyone was laughing and then clapoped for us and needless to say the papperazzi were out tkaing embarrassing pic of us.

Apart for the blisters on my feet, i had fun, and it was nice being congratulated by pp, we even got cetificates for being nominated, but i nicked the winning cetificate, as a leaving pressie for myself - heehehe the leaders won't be impressed but they'll have to catch me first !

 

But bad news aswell, I've lost my memory card with my suikoden 4 file, i was like 2 battles away from finishing that game, now i have to start all over - thats 5o hours worth of toiling :( I have to do it tho, as i got suikoden 5 on sale, so i have to finish the games in order !  

*Hello, hello, hello, hel-lo !*

 I'm back and ready to kick my unions in gear !

Last exam was yesterday and well it was how do u say...TERRIBLE ! I saw my tutor that morning, but i hid, cause he ALWAYSdoes his best to scare me out of my wits! Ironically in the actual exam, I forgot the names of the characters in one of the plays i was writing about, I actually started swearing in the exam... lucky for me the invigilator was right at the back (i'm at the top of the alphabet so i'm always at the front). The worst thing was i was starving and my stomache was growling the whole 2 and half hours...so comfort food was in order.

I had to drop off a book to my dissertation tutor and again it was a hit and run, I threw the book and him, said thanx and was outta there - any conversation with tutors makes me wobbly...i hope i didn't hit him in the head :p Thankfully I met up with my friend Kuldeep who talked about shoes for about an hour and totally made me forget about the exam. She was returning a book and had a fine, she said it was about £25 which gave me a heart attack. We went tot he libarary returns counter and i was laughing about how her sis gave her £40 birthday money was being spent on her book fine and the woman went your fine it £30.30 - i tried to restrain myself but I cracked up, the whole of New Cross could probably hear me, and i laughed the whole way out of the library to miranda's house. I never going to let her live this down :p Oh yeah her sis's wedding is on 10th june, it a proper Seikh wedding, (have never been to one before) so i'm excited, gotta sort an outfit out. Oh yeah I might wear a wig - now before everyone ridicules me, I cut my hair in march and it looked horrid, I looked bald, my hair became so flat and it still hasen't grown out and ssince she told me the whole events going to be recorded on camera, I have to look half decent !

Also I've convinced all my friends to go to the uni's summer ball this year! Only problem is everyone has theiroutfit except ME (everyone's exams finished b4 me...) it dosen't help we're having a masquerade theme ! Yikes. So much dressing up to do and no time.

Moving along from clothes and fines, i've started playing "Makai kingdom" on ps2 and I'm obsessed ! I love it more than Disgaea. Since my bro is a game tester, he tested it but didn't like the  fighting as Koei changed it alot from Disgaea and he put me up, but from my last holiday abroad, I got a pirate copy and it's awesome! It's sooo funny, you follow the story of an overlordof the underworld and you're so power you can take over all the other worlds but alas the power goes to head and he dstroys the book of time and poof everything is destroyed so to save some shred of his netherworld he embues his soul to the book and becomes a talking book. all the other overlord's tkae the piss outta hima nd he just swears at everyone. I primarily like the fact u can get guest chars from Disgaea and even Prinnies ! (Fighting penguins !) Yup I'm easily amused. Once i finish it i'll do a proper review.
