I predict that metro is going to disappear completely from the desktop version of windows 8 by release. It feels so clunky on a monitor without touchscreen.

chrome gets so many updates so quickly that some stuff just gets bonked/slowed. IE9 is fairly quick of a browser so it can be at times faster.

Opera imo feels the fastest, too bad there is no xmarks support.

JigglyWiggly_

Opera would be my browser of choice if it had universal compatibility.

The 480 is a great card - anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

Nethemis

okay it scarfs power, stock fan is noisy as a ---- and the heat it generates can cook an egg in 2 hours

but yet when i had the stock hsf on it highest temps i saw were 70c? let alone now with my WC i barley gover over 45c on load yea... i'm pretty sure it can cook an egg

100c can cook an egg in 3 minutes, I am sure 70c can cook it within 2 hours

My plan was to buy a Sapphire Radeon HD 6870, but I'm not sure I trust the drivers as much as I would Nvidia's. So, what is the 6870 equivalent on the Nvidia side?

Drivers are about the same each side.
