The costs of bringing it to consoles are probably not worth it, the witcher established itself as a franchise on PC and while its not huge like COD or BF it still has a large following. While outside of gamespot the witcher series is probably not known to console gamers and I dont see them picking this one up. So after all that money porting it to consoles and paying MS and Sony a flop would spell disaster. People just do not understand while consoles have bigger sales for SOME games, the cost of entry is to risky for some developers and developing on PC is much cheaper.

Also I think this is a terrible idea, instead they should give points when you buy games on steam and after you accumulate enough points you can buy a game with them. The points dont even have to be worth alot but its nice to get something back from your purchases.

10$ of the 60$ of every game on PS3 or 360 goes to Sony and MS, since no one owns PC thats why games are usually 50$, the games that are 60$ go to the publisher, which is a ripoff, while Bf3 is going to be 60$ at least they are offering PC gamers extra features.

Also these generic photographs from Nintendo and Sony isnt convincing anyone, I remember when the wii first came out, me and my friends played it for a while then it remained untouched and never played again.

Considering there are whole families that play WOW and many couples meet through WOW and are married on it (sad I know). I would still say PC wins.

I dont see what game deserves to be pirated, if it was so bad? why would you bother pirating it for? A friend of a friend of mine has a balling computer but pirates like crazy, I have to strongly resist the urge to tell my friend, that your pirating friend is a douchebag.

Hope it sells well, I am getting it on Steam and cannot wait!

I tried to play KZ 2 it was terrible, I had to force myself through the campaign and the MP was just awful.
