[QUOTE="sethman410"]It's actually true that we're in the near end of the consoles. Streaming or DD is the future.slvrraven9
not at all...i mean its gonna be a painful crossover if that is indeed the future because not everyone wants DD or streaming as their only source of ownership. i mean i seriously do not like the idea at all and im sure im not alone..

Devs certainly want it

-No need to deal with used games which hurts their sales more than piracy

-Saves money in packaging, disks and shipping costs etc

-Can sell directly to the consumer and cuts out the middleman like gamestop, or at least go to a middleman that would net them a better deal.

PC has already shifted to DD, and consoles are becoming more and more like PCs every generation

Next gen consoles will most likely crush anything currently on pc, there not coming out for at least 2 to 3 more years. Some hermits will be in denial but its highly unlikely sony and Micrsoft wont relese something that blows the doors off whats out today.

SajuukSW

It's also highly unlikely that MS and Sony are willing to take ridiculous losses out of the gate because they go with high-end hardware

This look at how the 600$ ps3 paid off for sony initially, they will never do that again.

Console fanboys seem to think PC gamers fear the next gen of consoles, when we are really saying bring it on! We are tired of 5 year old obsolete hardware dragging down the quality of games.

It really doesnt sound like Hitman anymore, which was a shame cause Hitman was the only true stealth franchise left on the market

Hitman really had no real story; you just kill people for money, there is no personal vendetta against them. (which in what a hitman is, a professional)

I have never played a game that deserves a 10, even my beloved Ocarina of Time didnt deserve a 10, I am glad PC games dont have a 10 yet, it just shows how inflated console reviews are and most reviews in general. Look at GTA4 removed so many features from its predessors while adding a few new things; imo it was the weakest in the series yet that game still got a 10 despite its weak storyline.

While 10 years from now when no one even remembers GTA4 or MGS4; thousands will still be playing starcraft, starcraft 2, world of warcraft, diablo, counterstrike etc. I think that speaks for itself better than any review could.

Activision is the only real COD killer not DICE or any other company.

People bring in BC2, but that has the most players on PC, and sold most on PC. They also made the most money on PC, thanks to the EA store and the fact that Digital Downloads offer a higher return rate. Those people that pirated it got a mediocre 6 hour campaign. GeneralShowzer

Im sure the witcher 2 devs still have faith in the pc community, this just proves a pirate will pirate a game no matter if there is drm or not and should not be considered part of the gaming community, who would want to pirate the witcher 2 when you can get it for 33$

[QUOTE="Obiwan317"]

I'll buy the game twice.

Steam(already have it) and CE.(pre ordered)

Elann2008

Seeing as how I cant get a refund from D2D, I might buy another copy for the CE version. I want that sculpture. :P Hopefully I could find a friend who can/want to play The Witcher 2. :D

Oh you cant get a refund from d2d? I wanted to buy a physical copy or steam or gog copy, I just applied for a refund too bad.
