I used to be excited for Nordic to make DS3... until I saw what they did to Sacred 3. Now, I'd take a hundred remasters over finding out how little the third would resemble anything slightly related to Darksiders.

I'm guessing "a number of sources" means this guy writing the article, his stoner roommate, a couple of 12 year old forum posters, etc.

@TimmyDKJR: If it's really that important to you to get credit for your discoveries, you could post a video online. Or invite a friend over, then point at your screen and say,"Look!"

@Archangel2222: Add to that the fact that even if you buy everything, the game won't be as fully featured as fighting games were 10 or 15 years ago. Comparing it to Capcom vs SNK 2 or Soul Calibur 3 shows how current fighters have devolved while ripping you off more.

The actual quotes from the patent holders imply friendly negotiations. The parts written by Gamespot make it sound like there's going to be Pheonix Wright style courtroom drama in the next 5 minutes.

Upon looking into the issues, a Blizzard representative stated, "Don't worry, it turns out we still have your money. Everything is fine. Case closed."

The only notable thing about this article is that there are 3000 McDonald's in Japan. I know it's densely populated, but I still thought the landmass would be too small to need that many.

Anyway, I would be interested if I lived in Japan, because their McDonald's menu looks amazing. I don't think I'll bother here in the U.S., we have the lamest McDonald's menu in literally the entire world.

@bbq_R0ADK1LL: I'm interested in the exploration, but this has me worried as well. Even if discovery is the main focus, not being able to show the other elements this close to release just screams that something is seriously wrong.

Wouldn’t people who are interested in doing this just be gaming on PC already? Or are they just relying on the fact that nobody who expects any sort of value for their money would own any of the current consoles, so why not go so far as to demand that they buy 2 versions of it to keep playing?

On consoles, this might get boring quick. On PC, if the modding community takes a liking to it then it could stay interesting for years.
