LOL, GT5 will not save the ps3. Nobody cares about rally cars in 2009 or 2010 or 2011, hmm when is GT5 coming out again? It will be a bigger flop than driver 2.
Halo 3 made $170 million in the US alone within 24 hours of its release, four million copies pre ordered globally,made more than$300 its first week globally, almost 3 years after its release, still made it to the top 20, this is the biggest game of this generation, fact.
pro is wayyy better this year are u blind. the graphics are great, fifa is basically the same. pro will be back on top this year. it will get alot of its fans back with this release.
okay here is an honest opinion, f the console war idiocy. Halo's storyline is epic, and has some omg moments, the reason i play video games. Master chief and Avery are great characters and despite not being into sci fi, i can really get into the story. Now the 'this game is great but this isnt' stuff, when you shoot an enemy you dont feel it or get the same satisfaction as in kz2. also the enviorments between the epic moments are okay but really kind of dead if u know what i mean its like the old serious same games running(or driving)around shooting up the same guys with similar/the same roadblocks. also in halo you end up having to use crappy alien weapons than urs due 2 crap ammo running out alot, also i prefer griity games, always have, and kz2 is gritty. Graphically, tbh not much between them not as much as ppl try 2 claim. Kz2 has better weapons, and halo is way wayyyy better online. Personally i like games that draw me in and provide me with those great moments, which is why i prefer halo. As a game? from a technical point of view, KZ is better, its supposed to be better, but i prefer halo along with the majority of ppl
GT5 will have more features, cars, modes, better physics, damage, etc.
Etc...

lol, there was a thread like 2 weeks ago talking about how "Forza 3 could hold its own sales-wise against GT5". I almost spit my drink all over my keyboard, but i didnt post. I lol at anybody who remotely entertains the notion that Forza 3 will be a commercial threat to GT5. take gt4 sales, and devide it by 5, because thats how much less people have a ps3 then had a ps2. oh and the fact that prologue sucked, forza 3 has a very realistic chance of outperforming gran turismo, game score wise, and sales wise. well that is if gt 5 is ever released.
Halo 3 is fun... if you're a kid. I realized that in my fraternity most of the younguns get off to playing Halo 3. I have no idea what it is... but the bright colors, goofy animations, and arcade-like guns attract the younger crowd... which the majority of gamers are. Most of the guys that graduated don't even touch that game... KZ2 is played more by the older guys. I realized that while playing KZ2 with my headset... I get less irritating young brats playing.
If sales means so much to people... and if it keeps the annoying kids from playing better games... than I'm all for it.
there are no kids in fraternities, i don't know about you but i stopped being attracted by 'bright colors & goofy animations' at about 3, not 19.
