I don't get it, people cry that there are no games out, but when you fast lane them they cry about them being crap. What happened to patience is a virtue? Good things happen to you in time? Its this stupid mentality of I want it all and i want it now, that we feed to labels, which in turn screws over everyone.
And as far as customer interaction i think its a better plan keeping the product(game) a secret until 1-2 months before release, not giving interviews or show reels , just keep quiet. Curiosity is a very potent tool that should be used to attract the masses. Going the opposite way just leaves extra room for interpretations and moaning. I mean Ferrari doesn't show reel their models in development like "this is the frame, we just ordered the engine we will see how it fits'' that kind of things like reel are for developers not the ordinary client.
@Mortz_88 @Nick_Fury_Shine You don't even know why you posted in the first place do you ? The big deal is rich corporations soaking more money from average mortals. When you buy a game you buy a physical copy of the product, the Intellectual property still remains to the publisher, but the copy now belongs to you. You can sell it break it burn it and nobody can do anything about it. When you trade back a game you pass the ownership of your copy to another man. Its like with books, you don't pay the author a % every time someone reads a book of his which was sold once.
@Mortz_88 @Banyek you didn't talk about retail getting a cut, your original post was "Whats the big deal, just don't buy pre-owned games" those are two completely different statements you are giving. Try expressing yourself better next time because if you don't a storm will happen like this one.
@Mortz_88 @Messenger360p Getting a job is harder than saying it on the internet, sure maybe you got one, or you were born with a silver spoon, but there are human beings that have 2 jobs and still don't have enough money to eat. Did you ever consider other people other than you. True if a hobby is out of your hand you can drop it but don't ever just say '' get a job'' because there is a large amount of jobless ppl who want a job and they can't get one because of the current state of the economy, that would gladly gut you in a ditch for saying that to them.
@GSGuy321 Dude Microsofy is build on stealing fraud and oportunistic activities, I quote "The good copy, the Best Steal" nobody becomes world's richest man with honest business, you need leverage and cunning. Depending on your views those can be a good thing or a bad thing. But don't even bother pointing out MS does it for the money, that's nothing new , they copyrighted that scam.
@Mortz_88 Just don't watch pre-owned movies, don't buy second hand cars, don't buy second hand clothes don't use recycled stuff. Don't give your old clothes that don't fit you to charity ... just bin everything you ever used once.
