Crysis 2 tried that, and right now just about every server is empty. So this being like COD or Halo, or a mix of both isn't a good thing in my opinion.
Bioshock, F.E.A.R. 2, Red Faction: Guerrila, Painkiller, Darksiders and Grand Theft Auto IV. These games bore me to tears, and Grand Theft Auto IV refuses to work correctly on my PC no matter what I do, and I'm not just about to go buy a new motherboard in hopes of this game not crashing.

Bioshock? :shock: Boring? Lolwut? Well then again everybody has their tastes.
- Crysis 2 (It just wasn't the great game I was expecting, in the start it's like :D but then it just gets boring. )
- STALKER (I can see why people would like this game, but for some reason I just couldn't get it to grow on me.)
- Age of Empires 3 (It was a good stragety game, but it wasn't a proper sequel to 2.)
If BF3 is anything like BF2, one well-made map can give 20-30 hours of gameplay alone. They are brining back 4 of the best maps ever too, so there is already probably 50 hours of gameplay right there.
I would take 5 BF3 maps over 20 CoD maps any day.

Are the 4 "classic" maps from BF2 only available when you pre-order or will they release them later?
You can get them from preorder but they will definetly release them later.

Yeah but MW3's maps are tactically desinged for stategic gameplay unlike Battlefields which are just massive GTA canvas's with no signifiance, :lol: I'm sorry, but are you being sarcastic?
Oh wait, we're being serious? Look at the images in the link below, will any of the CoD Maps be as big as the Battlefield ones? No. Will any of the Modern Warfare 3 maps be completely destructable? No. Will you be able to pilot jets/helicopters, drive tanks and etc ? No. So quit day dreaming kid, even if BF3 had only 10 maps it wouldn't bother me one bit.
Correction: they are the future of gaming. Ten years down the line they'll be on some game forum talking about how they hate kids that play online too. But until that day we'll have to settle for you guys saying that.
Our future of gaming knows just about every swear word you can think of, I don't know about you, but I didn't sit in front of my TV all day and swear at it when I was young.
