it says that in order to upscale your dvd you only need a vga cable. if this is true then I will just get a vga cable instead of getting a whole new dvd upscaler to watch my dvd's in a higher resolution.

hi I have a samsung 40" 720p/1080i tv. I am currently watching movies with just regular dvd's. I don't plan on getting a blu-ray/hd dvd player until there is a clear winner. I want to use my TV to it's fullest potential by buying a dvd upscaler. I found one on bestbuy for only $100. do you guys think I should wait for a winner in the blu-ray/hd dvd war or get a dvd upscaler.

keep in mind I don't have 1080p.

gears co-op is good for 2 ppl but versus is too boring for me. Halo 2 coop is decent but then again 1v1 is boring. I suggest halo 1 where you can actually play with 2 ppl
