@destroyerrrrrr: I'll happily respect the opinion of someone, even if and especially if it differs from mine, if they can use positive and non-derogatory language to construct well communicated thoughts. The OP uses words like "dumbo," "pathetic," "idiot" and "your so stupid," which isn't debatable in it's interpretation. It's toxic, and if someone see's that as a "good," then I firmly take my stand that it's still inappropriate, not conducive to anything constructive, and ultimately hurtful to the opinion they are trying to make. Meaning, it doesn't earn my respect.

@nerveagentuk: *checks your profile, sees only negative and toxic comments to all things Nintendo and Sony, only positive ones towards XBOX, calling Nintendo fans "children", bashing God of War/Uncharted and praising Call of Duty*

Now, that's a lot of ammo for anyone to flame, if I were a troll or something, but that doesn't help anyone. As a fan of all three consoles and someone who'd love to see everyone have a great time with whatever games they play (you dig Blackout, not quite my thing, but not a bad game, I'm more of a Rainbow Six guy myself), I have to say, dude...you need a hug or a Snickers or something, because that's a wholelottanegativity, and I don't even mean that ironically. Focus less on complaining about what makes others happy and more on digitally blowin' the hell outta whatever it is that makes YOU happy, and you'll feel better. A lil' friendly advice, however unwanted.

@aiat_gamer: I understand your point, but Devil's Advocate for a second, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, arguably one of the greatest fighting games in history, required MASSIVE amounts of unlocks and playtime to unlock 32 of the 56 characters, taking far longer than Smash Ultimate, and the Soul Calibur/Tekken Series have required a ton of unlocks in the earlier games too, both series also being knockout successes. I'm not saying that's necessarily a good thing, but there is a precedent to fighting games with unlocks, and finding enjoyment in the required unlocks. I personally enjoy the unlocks, but can see why someone would want to dive in and play the new characters without having to find n' grind them.

LOVED PlanetSide for quite a while! I'd actually consider this, if only because nothing ever matched the scale of warfare that PS delivered, and while I loved the game, it would be nice to have a finality to the rounds of combat that battle royale and other modes can deliver.

"Hennig was the writer and director of the Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain series."

This, alone, is reason enough for her to get this award. The stories and characterizations in these games were ahead of their time (and if you've played them, no pun intended.)

Congrats, Amy!

@lionheartssj1: I've played it a bit, but not as much as I'd like, if only because of the onslaught of new games this season. As for how it plays, it seems like a flawless port of the PC version to me, with intuitive controller integration and appropriate scaling for both TV and handheld. Again, personal opinion only goes so far, but I've enjoyed it. Hope that helps!

@youareme7: I can understand that. If you haven't already, check online (amazon, likely) for a cheap microsd card upgrade. I snagged a 128GB (about 5 times the stock free space after system files for the Switch) for a little less than $20. Again, I'm making an assumption that you didn't already have an upgrade, though if you do, my apologies! Either way, the struggle is real!

@gamingdevil800: Great question that many reviewers don't really flesh out. I was fortunate to play it at PAX and it's definitely a brand new game (I was worried it was a deluxe Wii U version, like Mario Kart). Played great, I'm excited!

@lionheartssj1: I'm with ya, I enjoy Smash, but the controller functionality has varied between them, and I'm definitely in the "Gamecube played best" camp, ready with my adapter to dive in! I'm curious how it feels to play, and either way, excited to smash!
