Yes, the Point! Welcome back, Danny!

Great stuff, I really appreciate diving into the realm of "how do I break away"? For me, lately, it's been Starbound, with some Final Fantasy: Theatrythm on the side. Great ways to let my mind slow down and just enjoy the exploration or the music. I'm actually looking forward to trying No Man's Sky, not because of the hype of it's potential, but because of what it sounds like it actually became. Great vid, Danny, keep it up!

I know he gets easier once you understand him, but I'll be damned if that Capra Demon didn't wreck my business as soon as I walked in that room the first time I encountered him...

"Okay...you got this..." *passes through fog*

"Okay, get my bearings real quick...aha, a dog...I'll just dodge to the OH FU$&!"

*YOU DIED*

@nl_skipper: I can understand that. I love the style, but it's not for everyone, though the gameplay is phenomenal and it would be nice to spread the wealth to some other styles. I always thought a Miyazaki Zelda game would be amazing.

I might suggest trying Dragon's Dogma, if you haven't already. It's not Dark Souls, but it does have cool combat in a higher fantasy world, with the exploration and danger found in souls games.

@brunorr: I can understand your concern, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Like some have said, it's most likely just for the trailer, and if nothing else, they could be showing a high build with the gear for increased weight capacity. I remember the days of gear swapping to get juuuuust under weight for mobility, ha! Good stuff!

After Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne (I enjoyed DS2, but its not Miyazaki), I still have faith in Miyazaki to put out quality.

@cboye18: I enjoy the feel and tone of the Souls games, but I understand what you're getting at. The gameplay, the lorehunting and exploration sound appealing, but you just aren't into the dark and somber tone, and I don't see a problem with that opinion. However, I'm having a hard time thinking of alternatives to the Souls games that can give you that feel, unfortunately. It's a little different, but have you tried Dragon's Dogma? A mostly great action RPG that has hints of what makes Souls great, but in a more high fantasy setting, with a unique party system. Might be worth checking out. Personally, I'd love to see a Zelda game that played like Souls.

Still enjoy Starcraft and Warcraft III, but anything earlier could use a facelift to accommodate current PCs and resolutions...I love me some WCII, but diving into that small resolution hurts the eyes a bit.

@Ayato_Kamina_1: I enjoy Diablo II, but it wasn't great at launch, and only became so with it's expansion. Without the internet abuzz with lovers and haters back then, most people often forget that and hold it in esteem because of nostalgia untainted by trolls and flamers that couldn't reek havoc back in the 90's. Diablo 3, after it's expansions, is a great game, worthy of the title.

When you stumble upon Snake in MGS2 and he calls himself "Iroquois Plissken"...Snake "Iroquois Plissken"...with his mullet, I immediately thought of Escape from New York. Then again, they pulled Snake's cover art from Metal Gear for the NES straight from Michael Biehn in Terminator, so who knows? Seriously though, if you haven't seen it, it's comically obvious and uncanny.

Either way, great movies, great games!
