I like how you avoid the part of the article where it says they will release more information about ssbb online as more modes come out, meaning different modes of online...meaning ranked matches.

I figure lots of people will accuse me of damage control, but it seems unfair to get too mad at nintendo for not adding voice chat to SSBB.

First of all, it's not necessary, it would certainly be a nice addon, but the only games where it's really that important is in games where you work with a team.

also, think about it, you would have to hold down a button for voice chat (unless it was on throughout the match, which would undoubtedly be equally irksome) and anyone who has played ssbb knows that you would be at a severe disadvantage if you were constantly trying to push a button.

I still think voice chat would be nice before/after matches, but I can live without it.

also, most people who are good have no problems beating a computer on hard, I know one guy who can do it consistently without getting more htan 10% damage.

Fantastic news! However... I wish there was some sort of ranked wifi battles. I mean, just the fact that you can play online with people all over the world is great, but it would be a nice incentive to keep playing, as well as being there for bragging rights or whatever.DrinkDuff

you cant count that out yet, they said that they would be releasing more wifi modes as they get finished.

1. meh, I'm not much of a fighting fan, but SSB is awesome.

2. nope, although I definitely consider it my favorite.

3. nah, I used to play a bit of soul calibur and mortal combat, but not so much any more.

That makes sense if Wii is the only console you have but... if you have multiple consoles there is no benefit to owning the Wii version-- you get inferior graphics and no voice chat. That was my original point.
