[QUOTE="afmsquid"][QUOTE="a_ratchet_fan"]You PC>>>>>>Mac robots DO realize that for the low, low price of $70 you can run PC applications AND Mac applications side-by-side, right? You don't even have to boot out of one to go to the other; they're completely integrated. You can only do this on a mac... that includes running vista apps or just plain running vista, btw.a_ratchet_fan
Unless I was a graphic designer, or music producer, there really are no MAC applications that I want to run.
Then in your case, there is no point. Although there are a few perks, like not contracting viruses - do not try to bull**** me on this, my comp has gotten its fair share of spyware/malware just from using harmless websites like GOOGLE or YAHOO - it would be more practical to just get the one you know you'll use.
with the right firefox extensions/programs basically all malware can be avoided.
I run two different anti-malware programs, along with noscript, and for overkill if I go anywhere even remotely dangerous I use sandbox.
also, the point wasn't that mac could run windows just fine, it was that while there are plenty of mac users who want to run vista, you'll find very few windows users who want to run Apple's OS
