Assassisn Creed and Call of Duty 4 is all that needs to be said.

Coming out same day with virtually no differences between the games(Creed may be better on PS3 though due to Blu-Ray).

We're talking a 3 month delay between Orange Box on the PS3 and Orange Box on the XBOX 360/PC.

Not to mention it's not like Orange Box is some powerhouse technically. Most of the games are just PC/XBOX ports.

And it's not like TF2 and Portal are some amazingly detailed games or anywhere near Call of Duty 4 or Assassins Creed in that department.

OremLK

They are different games with different engines. The issue is not just about visual detail, it's about how the games are coded and how much the programmers have to change the code to make it work on the PS3.

They all use the same engine and code or whatever. It's one of the reason they could all fit on a DVD.

Still doesn't change anything though.

I've laid out indisputable facts that proves there's something shady going on between microsoft and EA. Start listening now.

First Party Developer: Developer Owned By a Console Maker(Retro, Rare)

First Party Game: Game owned/published by a console maker. THe Console maker does not have to own the developer who makes the game for the game to be first party. There's no such thing as "2nd Party". They're owned by Microsft(being published) and Microsoft funds the games.

Too Human and Alan Wake = First Party games

Silicon Knights(Too Human devs) Remedy(Alan Wake Devs) = Third Party developers.

I don't care about either of those games anyway though. One of the games being axed really just adds to the domiant 2008 the PS3 will have.

[QUOTE="super_davem"]The demo moves well and look good, but then I fired up the 360 Bio shock and Gears of War. Uncharted is way behind in the graphic deparment, but I like the game play better that Gears of War.raynimrod

No

you're extremely wrong.

It's an opinion so let him have it.

You guys need to read and stop being brainwwashed.

Ubisoft and Activision have just recenetly made it so that games like Assassins Creed and Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 and XBOX 360 look basically identical. Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 even looks better than the 360 version at some places. It's not just 2 games either.

Ubisoft and Activision also are also likely to get more sales from the XBOX 360 version of their games just becuase more people have them atm (which will change soon), but their games still looking great on both and are coming out on the same exact day.

There is no reason the PS3 version of Orange BOX shouldn't be out right now really. January 2008? Are you kidding me?

I'm only calling conspiracy because it's obviously there.

EA Fails extremely hard.

Halo 3 shouldn't have over 90% ratings on Gamerakings.

Halo = Most overrrated series ever.
